Happy National Day of Prayer!

Blessings to you all on this National Day of Prayer!

As we mark this special day, let's come together in harmony to pray for our nation and those who lead it.

Today, we unite our hearts nationwide, offering prayers for restoration and revival.

By humbling ourselves before the Lord, we have faith that He hears us and responds with love and grace.

Prayer transcends a simple moment; it’s a call for God to engage and intervene in extraordinary ways.

My prayer...

Dear Lord, Jesus... I pray that you will restore and heal our land.

Help us come together in seeking You first and foremost.

I lift up my dear family, friends, and those who lead over us, and I pray for a hopeful, bright future.

May peace fill our hearts and extend throughout our nation and around the world.

I pray many will discover the true joy and serenity in knowing and trusting in You, Lord.

Thank you, Jesus, the Lamb of God, for taking away our sins and for your sacrifice that offers us redemption.

You are the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end.

Let Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

In Jesus' mighty name,

Amen.

If you have a prayer request, please share in the comments below. My family and I have been praying about a challenging situation, and we recently witnessed the Lord's powerful intervention, knowing without a doubt, that His grace guided us through. And I pray the same for you.

The images above are from "When Hope Calls" Season 2, Episode 3. At the end of the day, the orphan children knelt in prayer, giving thanks to the Lord for their home and safety. This beautiful scene touched my heart deeply. May we all be thankful for the blessings we have and trust in Him, especially when we face life's many challenges.

God bless you all...
on this National Day of Prayer,

“If my people, who are called by my name,
will humble themselves and pray...
I will hear from heaven and will heal their land.”

  4. What is the Prayer points for America 2025?

    AMERICA - Please pray for:

True repentance and revival in the Church, and the raising up of an entire generation of leaders who will boldly and vocally stand for biblical righteousness. The mercy of God to be poured out, bringing many to repentance and salvation – especially the prodigals, and those opposed to Christ

  5. What is the theme for 2025 National Day of Prayer?

The theme for the 2025 National Day of Prayer is "Pour Out to the God of Hope and Be Filled". This theme is inspired by Romans 15:13: "Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit". The theme encourages individuals to release burdens and embrace the overflowing joy, peace, and hope that God provides

  9. Such a wonderful prayer, Net! Just think how much better our world would be if more people discovered the power of prayer!

I am sorry to hear about your family's challenging situation, but it sounds like with God's help things are on the upswing. I hope that is the case, but I will still keep you and your family in my prayers!

    Blessings to you, my friend!

  10. Praying for our Country right now that the Lord will continue to protect us. Sadly it’s becoming more and more liberal and we are losing our Christian rights. Praying that many will repent this year and the Lord will open their eyes that they will see that the only way to salvation is not in us, but that they would trust in Him. Though, I am thankful our Country seems to be the best. We do have it pretty well considering poor nations and persecution. May we never take that for granted.
I pray for more aborted babies to be saved. Those poor little ones. Pray that the mothers would realize that this is murder and that God would grant these precious babies to adoptive Christian parents if the biological families don’t want them. I also pray that when we witness to these people we would be kind and loving to them and offer our support to raising these little babies, especially if they were aborting because of money problems.

Praying for believers that we would grow in our love for Christ, in godliness and in our Word. That we would love one another, tell the truth and support one another in our Faith.

My thanks to God… I thank Him for the beautiful weather He gives us, for Moms and Dads leading their children in the faith and my siblings and friends and His promise of Everlasting to those who love Him. I thank Him for the trial I went through at 13.God meant it for good!! My father abandoned us. It was a shock because this was a man who taught me the Bible and pretended to be a believer the whole time until he had enough. It made me examine my own life, and I found I was desperately lost and realized that though I was raised in a Christian home, I was a wicked sinner deserving Hell. I loved myself and my sinful desires more than God or my family. I cried out and confessed to my mom and she said Praise the Lord! She told me that Christ died for sinners and led me to Him in repentance and I am so very grateful to God for giving us His beloved Son for us. I am still a sinner, but my hope is in Jesus Christ. He is my rock. And His gift of salvation is so easy if only more people knew!! My mom remarried a wonderful devoted Christian who I call Dad who loves and works so hard to provide for us.
I am also so thankful to say that my sister is about to be baptized in a couple of weeks. She’s growing into a beautiful young believer and I am so thankful to God for saving her. I can now say all of my siblings have confessed Christ as their Savior and that’s a wonderful blessing.

Sorry, that was long. I have a lot on my heart today.
    Blessings to all of you!

    1. Abigail, Thank you for taking the time to share this beautiful, meaningful prayer. I appreciate every word - straight from your heart.

And how wonderful that your sister will be baptized soon. What a special time to make a public statement of her faith, one of the most important days of her life! And I know you must be a big encouragement to her in her daily walk.

God bless you, Abigail, and your sweet family! :)

  12. This line in prayer struck me most, "I pray many will discover the true joy and serenity in knowing and trusting in You, Lord."

Net, I don't know of your challenging situation, but it sounds like you have made it to the other side thanks to God..."we recently witnessed the Lord's powerful intervention". I love it when the veil between heaven and earth gets thinner for a time in our lives.
