Great American Media has some fantastic news to share - a sequel movie is officially on the way!
"A Christmas Prayer II" will be coming in 2026!

Joins Lineup for
Great American Christmas 2026
NEW YORK, NY – December 17, 2025 – As the 5th anniversary celebration of Great American Christmas enters its final three weeks, Great American Media is thrilled to announce it will produce a sequel to one of the season’s most cherished holiday films. A Christmas Prayer II, starring Shae Robins and Christopher Russell, has officially been greenlit for a brand-new chapter as part of Great American Christmas 2026 and will stream on Great American Pure Flix and air on Great American Family and GFAM+. The sequel promises to delight audiences all over again by celebrating the spirit of giving and joy of sharing blessings during the holiday season.
As the original film portrayed, A Christmas Prayer brings to life a touching story about a little girl who makes a list of prayers, not for herself, but as blessings for others. Each prayer she creates is meant to bring happiness and light into someone else’s life, capturing the true spirit of the season.
“As Great American Christmas celebrates an important milestone this year, we are far ahead of schedule in delivering on our mission of building the number one Christmas franchise in entertainment. And, we are off to a tremendous start in planning for the 2026 holiday season, with 3 movies completed and over 10 projects ready to go into production. A Christmas Prayer II fits perfectly within our slate alongside all the films that already make Great American Christmas one of the season’s most cherished traditions,” Abbott concluded.
