No longer can anyone tell you it's too soon to start celebrating or even talking about Christmas!!! It's that special, wonderful time to give thanks to Our Lord God Almighty for all our blessings, again this year! I pray you all have much to be thankful for!

I'm so glad you have come to celebrate here at It's A Wonderful Movie today! I just pulled up another chair, and set a place for you! Welcome! You're at home here. I do hope you enjoy the company. If only I could pass you a piece of delicious turkey or mashed potatoes & gravy, and lots of other yummy side-dishes!!!

When our meal is done and we settle in, either alone, or with all our loved ones and leftovers, that last for days... let us cherish this time and make memories, as we gather around to chat, play games, and watch Christmas Movies (of course!!!)!

I am so thankful for my Precious Savior Jesus Christ and the Joy of celebrating His birth - 2016 years ago!!! Also, I am truly blessed to have such dear family to rejoice with! As we gather, I always wish I could bottle up this special time of having everyone home and close. As we sit around the table, my mind often drifts to other Thanksgivings and loved ones who are no longer here, but forever close in my heart and ever-present in the faces of other family members and in my happy memories! Let us treasure the little things... watching the parade Thanksgiving morning, setting the table just right, and even the spilled milk is a gift - simply because it means we are surrounded by those we love!!!

Remembering Actress Florence Henderson - "Carol Brady"

Forever in our hearts she will be the Brady Bunch Mother...

"All of them had hair of Gold, like their Mother..."

Florence Henderson, was such a delight to watch, mostly always bringing personality & spunk to her roles, such as 'The Brady Bunch' or Hallmark's "Matchmaker Santa." But she could also bring a serious, dramatic feel, as well, as in Hallmark's "Ladies of the House" or the heartwarming story of "The Christmas Bunny." (If you haven't seen Florence in "The Christmas Bunny" - then, you absolutely must! She is terrific! You may hardly recognize her!)

Florence Agnes Henderson was born February 14, 1934, the youngest of ten children, in the small town of Dale, in southern Indiana. She passed away on November 24, 2016, of heart failure, surrounded by her family. She had four children: Barbara, Joseph , Bob, and Elizabeth.

You can see Florence's intensive 6 decade career span on her imdb listing, here! From the stage, to the big & small screen, musicals (such as "The Sound of Music"), game shows, variety shows, singing annually at the Indianapolis 500, and so on and on... Florence Henderson certainly did it all!!! Her great talent will definitely be missed.

PLOT:

via UP: Darcy Blake has the perfect job – she works for Harrington House, a successful greeting card company, in the editorial department. She realizes that she is a bit out of step with her fellow millennials but that is fine with Darcy. Everything is about to change when Andrew Harrington arrives at the company to take over from his grandfather and he has a very different view of the holidays.
