So... which premiere are you watching tonight (or recording)? I'm choosing both - but I'd love to hear your choice in comments below!

Please note: I don't recommend Mistletoe Murders for young viewers because the show involves murder mysteries.

Stay tuned for even more Christmas movie premieres coming this weekend - in my big post tomorrow!!!

May your day be
Merry & Bright,
Net

  2. Okay, thank you for the heads up, Net. Now I’ve got to remember to record UP movies on Thursdays since they coincide with Mistletoe Murders. Judging by the poster & description, Somebody Like You sounds good, but we’ll see. I liked the lead girl in a Lifetime movie where she learns Jewish holiday traditions. Do you remember that one?

    1. Allie B, I do remember that movie - Mistletoe & Menorahs! It is such a sweet one. I hope they play it on Lifetime again this year!

  4. I had season 1 & 2 of Mistletoe Murders taped on FrndlyTv but I never got around to watching them and they expired. Now that I finally want to watch them before starting season 3, I can’t find them for free anywhere. Does anyone know how to watch them for free or whether they will rerun them soon? I guess I could sign up for Hallmark Plus but I’m kind of tired of paying for so much stuff. I sort of remember at one point Abigail taught us how to watch Hallmark Plus stuff on Hoopla but I can’t remember how to do it. ~~Jane

This movie was an odd one for me. The beginning meeting was cute and I was getting excited to see what happened next. Fast forward to her being in his bathroom calling her friend & them being all giddy about going back to his place the first day she meets him insinuates maybe a one night stand will be happening, to me at least. So I was confused by what would be happening next…. almost like a creepy Lifetime movie, hard to explain. However they just gazed at each other while she refused to talk about her life and didn’t want to exchange info… so strange when she told her friend she really liked him. Fast forward to them reconnecting & although I love the “stranded at Christmas” storyline, I just didn’t really care for it. My DVR messed up and only recorded 1 hour of the movie so maybe the 2nd half was better?

Right before she rushes home to help, a mysterious handcrafted Christmas ornament arrives with the message "You light my night". A severe winter storm strikes her hometown of Arborville, causing heavy damage right before the annual holiday festivities. Trevor fixes broken things like wooden ornaments, jewelries, etc..., at his woodshop. It's available on YouTube, Tubi, or Hoopla Digital.
