Great American Family just shared some exciting news on social media - a third movie in the "A Christmas Prayer" franchise is coming in 2027! I’m so happy to see this beautiful, faith-filled Christmas story continuing!
The first two movies star Shae Robins (Destined at Christmas) and Christopher Russell (When Hope Calls: Brookfield), and the wonderful news is that both stars will be returning to reprise their roles as Natalie and Wes!

This makes me so happy. I hope that there is a Christmas prayer movie every year. I know I will probably make some people mad but I prefer this movie series to the Destine at Christmas one. I am not sure if you saw that they added two more movies next week. Both are from lifetime one is Matchmaker Christmas starring Corey Steiger and Emily Rose it is from 2019 and airs on next Monday at noon and the other one is Hot Cocoa Holiday starring Audrey Reynolds from Santa Maybe the movie is from 2021 airs next Friday at 2pm. I never saw either one so I am going to be watching .

DeleteI have seen both movies, and as far as I remember, they were both good. I know both are, of course, family-friendly. Matchmaker Christmas is from 2019, and Hot Cocoa Holiday (previously Hot Chocolate Holiday) is from 2021. It's been a while since I've seen them, so I'm looking forward to giving them both a rewatch.

DeleteOh this made my day — I only caught up with the second one last weekend, so hearing Shae and Christopher are both back for a third in 2027 feels like perfect timing. I loved how Shae called it a blessing to keep telling this story, that really came through in the last film. Do you think they'll finally go for the wedding everyone keeps hoping for, or keep it quieter like before?

DeleteProbably an unpopular opinion, but I didn't like the most recent movie at all. I know that GAF is leaning into the faith based space more with their Christmas movies, and I understand that. But the second movie was so preachy. Additionally, they were trying to tell three stories and give them equal attention and none of them really resonated with me. I could do without the third.
