UPDATE: This meeting has been changed from YouTube to Zoom! See details above.
ReplyDeleteI just saw the update that it will be from YouTube to Zoom so I don’t think I’ll be able to join. But let us know how the sneak peek is Net! So I know a lot of us still have some Christmas recordings
ReplyDelete(Net and Jim Lol) and I have been working hard to get through mine but then I fell off the wagon over the weekend….I was looking for Paddington at the request of our little ones on our Prime account and I found movie after movie that are old but new to me! So now I’m currently watching “A Perfect Christmas List” with Beth Broderick. Before that I watched “A Date by Christmas Eve” with Vanessa Lengies. It’s so hard to keep up & it’s only beginning!
~Paula
Paula, I'm down to 6 more Hallmark movies left. I'm pretty much watching 1 a day now. My goal is to be done by the time the Hallmark 2/47 Christmas starts next week. There is only one new one this weekend on GAF, so all looks good. I might just make it before the pressure destroys me lol. I am always amazed at how some are able to watch ALL of them by New Year's Day. Then again, I wouldn't have new Christmas movies all year if I did it that way. Naaaa, I love having them as a yearlong goal to finish. A lot less now so will be much easier to finish. I remember around 3 years ago I counted them and there was a total of like 110 new ones on all the channels. We are down to like 60 now. I'm in the camp that says the more the better. I just LOVE knowing there are tons of new ones out there to watch no matter the quality. As long as it has a Christmas tree and Christmas lights and Christmas music and a 'going to live happily ever after' smooch at the end, in it, I'm good.
DeleteNet, The Christmas Pitch (2021)/Love at Kringle Lake is an old Christmas movie but it’s not new
ReplyDeleteStarring Joseph Morales & Alexa Maria Huerta
It could be Jonathan Stoddard & Emily Alatalo’s Christmas movie; “A Christmas Pitch” (2025) is a new Christmas movie
Love at Kringle Lake (wt)

Hope someone was able to watch this, sounded real good. -Maria
ReplyDeleteMaria, I added a basic update below. Unfortunately, they ran out of time to show any clips. Maybe next time. It was still interesting to hear them discuss the various titles and who is in the movies this Christmas.
DeleteAnother Update: I listened to the Great American Family Zoom meeting tonight, and I can confirm the movie A Christmas Pitch (wt), starring Emily Alatalo and Jonathan Stoddard, is the correct movie for the Christmas schedule, and not Love at Kringle Lake (wt), starring Alexa Maria Huerta and Joseph Morales.
ReplyDeleteI know many of you were hoping this was the case, so I'm happy to confirm that it is.
if they don't want a more confusing mess, I hope they change the title since Kringle Lake is in the other Christmas Pitch movie.
DeleteThe Great American Family programming department, along with CEO Bill Abbott, discussed all 16 Christmas movie premieres in the Zoom call, which lasted about 1 hour and 10 minutes.
ReplyDeleteThe BIG mystery Christmas movie was not revealed.
Also, there was no mention (that I heard) of Candace's Christmas movie with Cameron, "Another Sweet Christmas," even though I did see someone ask about it in comments. For now, it is still a mystery when it will air.
Bill, along with each lady in the programming department, ranked each movie that will air during Christmastime, giving a little insider detail on each one, and they encouraged everyone to share their own rankings for each Christmas film throughout the Christmas season on the GAF website.
Danica McKellar & Jesse Hutch are currently filming their Christmas movie, and Jillian Murray and Trevor Donovan will be filming their movie soon.
An exciting announcement is expected to be made tomorrow, unrelated to holidays. I won't say any more and spoil it.
Stay tuned! :)
Thanks for the info re Love At Kringle Lake, Net.
ReplyDeleteI'm delighted if somewhat surprised, it makes the title rather odd now unless by some long shot there is a Lake Kringle in it.
Someone certainly made a real mess of things - Florence
Florence, I’m not sure how the title “Love at Kringle Lake” ever came about in the original GAF press release, but the movie is back to “A Christmas Pitch” (wt), so the title may or may not change again, but it is definitely the one with Emily Alatalo and Jonathan Stoddard.
DeleteThere was also talk and comments in the Zoom about it being somewhat awkward for Crossroad Springs fans since they play siblings in that series.
Anyway, that’s the update on that. Glad we finally have a definite answer!
Florence, Another update on this! Last night in the Zoom, the movie was referred to as A Christmas Pitch (wt), but now the GAF website is listing it as Love at Kringle Lake (WT) again.
DeleteHonestly... I don't know. Stay tuned. It will probably change again.
I hate the ranking thing! That's just so insulting.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I must agree. I’m also not fond of it.
