πŸπŸƒ Hallmark Channel's September, 2025 Movie Premieres

The Hallmark Channel has released its lineup of September movie premieres. The highlights are a brand-new romantic comedy starring fan favorites Rachel Boston and Andrew Walker, as well as the latest installment in the "Mystery Island" series.

Also, I want to inform you... premiering on the Hallmark Channel in September are "The Groomsmen" trilogy of films, which originally premiered on Hallmark+. (Note: these movies include a same-sex relationship.)

Here’s a look at the new movies coming to Hallmark this September...

Adventures in Love & Birding

Premiere Date: Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 8/7c

Starring: Rachel Boston and Andrew Walker

Storyline: A single mom agrees to be the partner of a bird enthusiast for a birding competition but misunderstands the assignment and tells everyone she's his new girlfriend instead of just his teammate.

Mystery Island: House Rules

Premiere Date: Sunday, September 14, 2025 at 9/8c

Starring: Elizabeth Henstridge and Charlie Weber

Storyline: Mystery Island success raises plans of expansion, and the Island team meets their Mystery Mountain counterparts for a friendly murder game, but the fun ends with a murder in plain sight.

Hopefully, these two movies will be good! I'm not certain these movies above will be truly fall-related; however, at least two fall-themed movies will be added to the Hallmark schedule in October, including "Home Turf," starring Nikki DeLoach and Warren Christie, and "Haul Out the Halloween," starring Lacey Chabert and Wes Brown. Stay tuned for more details.

Are you looking forward to the new rom-com and mystery in September? I'm really glad they changed the title of Rachel and Andrew's movie from "Birding with Benefits" to "Adventures in Love & Birding." The new title has a nicer, more charming ring to it.

As for "Mystery Island," I’m a big mystery fan and have seen all the previous movies in this franchise, but so far, it just hasn’t pulled me in. Maybe this new one will finally do the trick. I’m game for giving it a try!

  2. I am not sure any of these will pull me in.

  3. Though I enjoy watching both Rachel Boston and Andrew Walkers movies, I don’t think this sounds like a fall themed movie at all, the last few years we may have 1-2 per season that actually are fall themed, I understand the current head of programming at Hallmark seems to have an issue with the seasonal offerings, what happened to winterfest, after Christmas and fall, this was my favourite hallmark theme. Well hopefully there is some fall elements to the movie & more actual fall themed movies and of course I’m holding out hope for Haul out the Halloween, the Christmas counterparts were watchable, though not my favourite offerings.

    1. Michelle Vicary has returned. No it won’t be a reset as that won’t be allowed by higher ups but maybe we’ll see more seasonal movies that fit the season. One can hope.

    2. Oh that’s good news, maybe in time it will go back to the way it was, I miss some of the more seasoned actors on the network that were regulars, I’d love to see them back and more actual seasonal themed programs. I rewatch the good old fall and winterfest movies seasonally as well as my favourite Christmas classics

  4. Me either, why even call it anything Fall themed at this point if you’re only putting out non seasonal movies

  5. It’s been difficult to get in to a Mystery Island movie. I think I saw the 2nd one last, so I’m a movie behind.

  6. Can't wait for the Rachel & Andrew movie.

  7. I don’t like the mystery ones, I liked some of the ones they’ve taken off but new ones just don’t do it. I’m looking forward to the rom coms, big Rachel Boston fan and all of our regular stars on Hallmark, some of the younger ones just aren’t hitting the mark for me, give me the actors we know and love! ~Susan Ann

  8. I’ll be looking forward to Haul out the Halloween & Home Turf, though I’ll watch the Andrew walker/ Rachael Boston movie too. I have atleast 20 fall themed hallmark movies I’ll be rewatching

  10. I’m with everyone here, I miss the more fall themed movies. But I will still watch Andrew and Rachel because I love them both. As for the mystery one, it’s not my fave but I’ll watch it.

  11. I get it. Most days, it feels like Hallmark just wants to let itself burn to the ground with bad choices, movies and shows and completely ignore what it's true fans want.

But there's hope out there. We live in a different political climate, and there's been big changes at the leadership level.

It may take months or next year before there's some kind of significant change, but there's hope out there that the ship can be righted before it's far too late to make a difference.

The network we knew before 2020 existed, and it was a ratings smash hit. Giving up now would be wrong. #trytohavefaith -Maria

  12. If you completely disqualify every Hallmark + premiere this year, 99% of new movies this year have been clean. There's usually a gay movie right before March, and this year, it till June with 2 activist actors.

    That to me, is noteworthy.

It's probably naive to say, but maybe this year's ridiculous Christmas buffet could show some kind of positive change to what true fans really want to see. #justdontgiveup -Maria

  13. I’m not so sure the best way to get ratings these days is a bird watching movie. Kids already think Hallmark is for old folks. Andrew and Rachel will probably bring in viewers, buuuut I’m thinking not with the young crowd. πŸ€”

  14. Roku unveiled its new streaming service, which the company says offers no advertisements and costs $2.99 per month.

  15. Money and ratings wise, Hallmark is in trouble. It's pretty obvious that their choices of the last 5 years have caught up with them, and changes obviously need to be made if they are going to survive and preserve their legacy in this cord cutting world.

Whatever their reason for hiring Michelle back, it's clear that something about the network is going to change, what and when, anyone's guess. But something positive needs to happen to try and keep the network going. -Maria

  16. I quite enjoy the Mystery Island Mysteries but it looks 100%% certain Hallmark are abandoning the Mystery Channel - so sadly no more Curious Caterers.

They didn't help themselves by messing about with the days they aired on - and why they ever thought they would get decent viewing figures on a Thursday night is beyond me.

The recent Aurora Teagarden only pulled in a disastrous 490k on a Sunday - Florence
