Candace Cameron Bure, known for many years as the Queen of Christmas movies, is now filming her second Christmas movie for the 2025 holiday season for Great American Family!
Even with her long resume of Christmas movies, Candace reveals this is actually her very first Christmas Movie SEQUEL!
It was previously announced by Great American Media that Candace filmed Timeless Tidings of Joy earlier this year, along with Paul Greene (Bringing Christmas Home) and her real-life daughter, Natasha Bure (A Christmas for the Ages). (see press release here)
Candace is currently filming her second Christmas movie, A Home Sweet Christmas Wedding. She and her co-star, Cameron Mathison, announced this sequel movie back in January, along with Great American Media CEO Bill Abbott, during a Facebook Live Event with Great American Family!
See behind-the-scenes of Candace's first two days on set, plus details from the special Christmas movie announcement in these videos...

Great American Media also recently released another promo for the next "Ainsley McGregor Mystery" premiere, which will be streaming on Pure Flix on May 22nd.
I think Jim was the one who mentioned it, that our “countdown to Christmas” is closer than we think as it actually starts in October. I am so excited for when that rolls around, will be here sooner than we know it! And yes, Candace will always be Queen of Christmas to me π❤️

Christmas Baby
For the Win
Birding with Benefits is for HM-Andrew Walker & Rachel Boston--For the Win is a feature film (theaters; not a movie of the week-mow). Christmas Baby could be for anywhere as Eva T works with them all, but likely a mow. Of course, we know Christmas Wedding is Candace & Cameron's sequel. There's another Royal Christmas Wedding that I thought may have been a sequel to be the third in Rhiannon's royal trilogy, but it's not. It stars Bridgette Kingsley. -Megan
DeleteMegan, Thanks for the scoop all around.
DeleteI did hear that Andrew Walker & Rachel Boston were doing the Hallmark movie, "Birding with Benefits".
Gotta be honest, though, I'm not really loving the title. The “with Benefits” part in particular gives off a certain vibe, since most of us know the usual implication. It feels more like something you'd see on Lifetime than what we typically expect from Hallmark.
Interesting news on the Royal Christmas Wedding movie! Thanks so much for sharing.
I've also been keeping my eye on a few different film projects, one of them being the horse movie recently filmed in Kentucky, "Win, Place, Love" with Haylie Duff directing and the movie starring Jessica Szohr, Jana Kramer, John Schneider, etc.
I’m also not a fan of that title Birding with Benefits. What is Hallmark thinking there? Christie
DeleteI think they may alter the title of BwB. -M
DeleteChristie-that's the name of the book it's based on, so for now they are using that title, but it could possibly change before being announced. I think the book is spicy, but that doesn't get included in the movies. Expecting it to be Aug/Sept, I'd think. I'll watch for Rachel & Andrew!
DeleteI’m so excited to see Candace’s Christmas movie in-the-works!!! She really is the Christmas Queen. Bring on the holiday cheer. Thanks, Net, for giving us these sneak peeks! Christie
ReplyDeleteI half caught this on IG and wanted to go back to see it but the video was gone. That 24 hour limit is ridiculous but I digress. A quick google search brought me here. Thanks for posting this info on Candace’s Christmas movie and costar.
ReplyDeleteA wedding at Christmastime!!!! I’m all in for this new festive romance!!!! π❤️π
