Where YOU Can See ๐ŸŽƒThe Great Pumpkin๐ŸŽƒ and ๐ŸŽ„A Charlie Brown Christmas๐ŸŽ„ this Holiday Season... and More!

Every October, I used to always look forward to watching “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” on TV. I simply adore Linus' imagination and Sally's devotion to her "Sweet Babboo!" Then, at Christmastime, I just have to hear those precious, meaningful words in “A Charlie Brown Christmas”... "Sure, Charlie Brown, I can tell you what Christmas is all about." Which, of course, is followed by the scripture Luke 2, which proclaims the birth of Jesus!!! I've included a video clip of that wonderful scene below.

This year, it doesn't look like they are planning to air the Charlie Brown specials on TV, even on PBS, but you can watch either on DVD or Apple is providing a streaming option.

Apple announced this week: "Peanuts favorite holiday specials “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown,” “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” and “A Charlie Brown Christmas” (will be) available to nonsubscribers free for a limited time."

This year, Apple's streaming service will also include the Peanuts holiday specials: “I Want a Dog for Christmas” and “Charlie Brown’s Christmas Tales,” debuting on Friday, December 2nd.

When you can stream Charlie Brown for FREE:

“It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown”
available October 28 through October 31, 2022

“A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving”
available November 23 through November 27, 2022

“A Charlie Brown Christmas”
available December 22 through December 25, 2022

Hope you enjoy watching Charlie Brown again this holiday season!
Blessings, Net

And, just for fun, I just had to share these festive Peanuts products available at Amazon:

(I'm typically a goner for just about anything Charlie Brown, especially when it's Christmas related.)

I hope you have happy October days, Net.

    1. Sheri, How fun!!! Charlie Brown kitchen towels! I bet they are adorable! I know just what you mean - just seeing Peanuts dรฉcor always puts a smile on my face, too.

I have a Fall themed Charlie Brown pillow from Pottery Barn on my couch, and it always fills me with joy when I see it.

Blessings to you and yours this Fall season!!! :)

  2. All-
When we were kids my mom would ask us to set aside a portion of our allowance to buy Christmas presents for our family. The pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters would go in our homemade piggy bank coffee can or canning jar. Then we would set aside a Saturday in December to go to town and buy our Christmas gifts. It was all hush hush and we would hide our gifts till Christmas Eve to be set under the tree before we went to church. Oh, the fun to see the reaction to the gifts by my parents and brothers on Christmas Day. Well, one of those early gifts was a book my brother gave me- “A Charlie Brown Christmas”. I still have the books these many years later.

I am so glad we can still watch this special program that leads us all to- “I know what Christmas is all about, Charlie Brown.” May we all have the beautiful love of God in our hearts.

Thanks, Net for keeping the focus to Him.

    1. Misty, That's probably a good idea. I have a feeling Apple won't offer it for free every year.

    1. Maria and Chris, Me too! I'm glad Apple offers it for free, but I don't want to count on them to play them every year.

    1. JaCo, I know what you mean... no one seems to make Thanksgiving themed movies anymore, which is too bad since there are a lot of potential great storylines around the holiday.

    2. A time to Remember with Dana Delaney and Doris Roberts, A Family for Thanksgiving and An Old Fashioned Thanksgiving are a few older good ones.

    3. JoCo, I remember those movies. Wonder why they stopped making movies centered around Thanksgiving? Ratings?

"Love at the Thanksgiving Day Parade" is one of my all-time favorites!

    4. Thought of that one also later. That and the Thanksgiving House with Emily Rose. Just not as popular a holiday as Christmas I guess. Even though it is supposedly the busiest travel holiday. I do have these DVDs so can still enjoy.

  9. Jim, Wow! What beautiful Christmas displays! That's incredible they were able to get so many people to participate. I really like how it starts with that lovely nativity. I bet it's even more spectacular in person; however, whoever captured it on video did a fantastic job.

Thank you for sharing this Christmas magic with us!!! :)

  10. If you enjoy Charlie Brown characters... If you are in CA, you gotta to to Knotts Berry Farm. It's a family amusement park. And the theme is Peanut characters. Grew up going there as a child with my family and grandparents and loved it! And it's great in the fall.
