Reviews:
π"A Love to Remember – This movie was, just as I anticipated, a similar take on the 90’s movie “While You Were Sleeping.” It is family friendly and fun, yet it’s a bit offbeat and eccentric. Most likely there will be some people who love it and others who don’t like it at all. I think I fell somewhere in the middle on this one. There’s some green eco talk and a quick mention of not liking plastic bottles and straws. (It’s not too over the top – I mean, who doesn’t hate trash and want a cleaner earth, right? I personally still like using plastic straws and water bottles, on occasion – I just don’t know why people can’t be responsible and dispose of these things properly.) Anyway, back to the movie… the lead girl, Tenley, is quite likeable and quirky; when she gets herself into some trouble, you can’t help but cheer her on to succeed. The one caution is – there is lying by omission; Tenley pretends to be married to one man, Jared, although she is falling for another, Everett. Throughout the movie she struggles nearly every scene with this lie, but keeps it up mainly to protect others and put their needs before her own. I loved Tenley’s joyful enthusiasm and happy dance; I hope you’ll enjoy this movie, too!" ~Net
π"A Love to Remember. Ugh, Net mentioned some people would just not like this movie and I'm definitely in that camp. I couldn't take this one and deleted about halfway through. I like some quirky movies but just didn't find this one to be fun or enchanting... more annoying and completely unbelievable. And I'm sick of holier-than-thou Hollywood preaching the "green" stuff ad nauseam." ~~Jane

Will she give up everything for the love she never saw coming?
Review:
π "Starting Up Love. Bit strange this - normally the main requisite for me is that their must be good chemistry between the leads and I don't think it was strong here, while not lacking. I'd never heard of either before but while I really liked the male lead I didn't think Anna Hutchinson was correctly cast although I did begin to warm more to her towards the end. I thought Charlene Tilton was good as the aunt much better than in her recent Lifetime Christmas movie and the rest of the secondary cast put in pretty decent performances as well. The scenery was excellent and the plot was actually interesting. Probably this film was made on a low budget and I suspect if Hallmark had made it many of the rough edges would have been smoothed. THE KISS at the end was rather anaemic - more like brother and sister if anything. Oddly though I'd have to say I quite it enjoyed it overall - I'd certainly like to see Ricky Myers in another role. No problems regarding it being family friendly." ~Anonymous
Designed With Love
Original Air Date: April 25, 2021
Starring: Kelly Van Der Burg and Benjamin Sutherland
Story-line via UPtv: Clothes designer Skye goes mobile with a “fashion truck” – but she can’t drive the truck and run the business alone. Help comes in the unlikely form of handsome entrepreneur Jason. As they work together, Skye and Jason find they have more in common than they thought… could it be love?
Review:
π "Designed with Love - is cute and family friendly. As a lover of fashion, I enjoyed seeing Skye's love of design and ability to make people feel good about themselves and more confident. Skye's mobile fashion truck is a clever idea, and it's fun to see a spark developing between her and Jason, the guy who builds companies, sells them, and moves on to the next project. According to Jason's sister, Mo, he's not the kind of guy to ever settle on one business or one girl. Skye, in the meantime, is a magnet for guy's who won't commit, since her current boyfriend, Patrick, of 5 years, still hasn't proposed marriage, even though she's hinted. Patrick does, however, get Skye a job designing a dress for Mary B., a well known celebrity influencer, which will benefit his and Skye's career. Mary B's assistant is quite annoying and persistant in taking over Skye's fashion design, but he's not in the movie very long. Thankfully. Overall, I liked the leads, Skye and Jason; it was a sweet movie to put a smile on your face at the end of the day." ~Net
