Celebrate πŸŽ„ Christmas in January πŸŽ„ with 5 Christmas Classics on TV including πŸ”” "A Glenbrooke Christmas" πŸ”” with Autumn Reeser & Antonio Cupo! SEE HERE: πŸ‘‰πŸ‘‰

If you have all three Hallmark networks, you can potentially see 5 Christmas classics this week - from Thursday to Saturday! One of the movies airing, "A Glenbrooke Christmas," was one of my favorites from the 2020 Christmas season. I was just thrilled to see Autumn Reeser & Antonio Cupo coupled together again since "Love at the Thanksgiving Day Parade" and "I Do, I Do, I Do." Don't you just love the picture of the two above - holding hands? So sweet!

The story in "A Glenbrooke Christmas" about the town coming together in their effort to hopefully get the Church bells πŸ”” ringing again - was truly beautiful. I hope you enjoy this movie and other classics airing this week! See details below...

Hope you enjoy the Christmas movies airing this week. "Finding a Family" isn't very Christmassy, but there is some Christmas in it; plus, it's a very touching story. (Please note: I don't recommend this movie for young children because the mother has addiction issues.) It is based on a true story.

I'm hoping I'll be able to catch a few of these, especially "A Glenbrooke Christmas" and "Snow Bride." Since "Finding a Family" airs at 7am on Saturday morning, I think I'll sleep in and record that one!

Which Christmas movies are you hoping to see? Please share in comments below.

Blessings to you all, Net

  1. I tried watching Picking up and Dropping off last week, but it was really boring. and I think the male character says his wife cheated on him, I didn't get much farther cause it was very boring.

    1. Sabrina, Thank you for sharing that info. I remember being so-so on the movie back when I saw it years ago. It wasn't a keeper for me, either.

  3. Snow Bride is one of my all-time favorites, so I will definitely be watching that one! So much better than this year's Christmas With the Darlings that also starred Katrina Law.

I missed watching a movie on the 25th (too much snow to shovel, since we had our first major snowstorm of the year in Chicagoland!), and it has been awhile since I have watched Love at the Thanksgiving Day Parade, so I am going to watch that one this weekend as well as a late "Mark the 25th" movie (although I do understand I may receive a detention from you Net since it is late)! ;-)

    1. Mark 25! It's never too late to celebrate Christmas with us! How cool that you've been Walkin' in a Winter Wonderland! I'm in the Midwest, too, but we haven't received a lot of snow lately. We had a little snowfall, a skiff, as they say, last night, but much more is supposedly on the way this weekend. Yay!!! We'll have to get out the sleds & shovels again, plus, we always build a Snowman or two! Hope we don't get quite as much snow as Greta does in "Snow Bride" when she gets stranded!

Happy watching! And thank you for *Mark*ing the day with us!!! :)

    2. Net, I am so envious of all of you who have snow each year. Here in the south, most of us get too excited over the snow. In 1989, we had our first and only white Christmas. I always put a stable with the nativity in the yard for Christmas. The lights were on in the 3 ft. tall figurines and a giant star that hangs over the stable. With the snow, it was magical! My husband made a video of it. The snow was knee deep! It snowed for 3 days. After hurricane Hugo that year, I saw God taking the ugliness of a wiped out landscape and making something beautiful. Snow is so beautiful and pure! Just wanted to share with you.

I watched "A Glenbrooke Christmas" and loved it even more this time. Net, you and everyone who reads comments on here, knows my favorite Christmas movie for 2020 is "The Angel Tree". Enjoy the snow for me!

    3. kitkat, Oh, how I wish I could share some of our snow with you! That year you had the knee high snow sounds like it was so beautiful! When I was a little girl we had so much snow on our farm and drifts so high - our animals were able to walk right over the fence! That was something!

You are so right, I also love the way it makes everything look so pure and clean with a covering of white snow - I always think of that line in scripture and the precious hymn about Jesus washing us white as snow! That's what makes it even more meaningful when we have a White Christmas! We will turn on our Christmas lights tonight to enjoy as the snow falls! I can't wait - I just hope we keep our electricity!

So glad you enjoyed "A Glenbrooke Christmas" once again! By the way, "The Angel Tree" will be airing soon... on February 25th! I think we know how we'll be marking this upcoming 25th!!! :)

      Sending snow your way, my friend... ❄ ❄ ❄ ❄ ❄ ❄

    1. Same here, Denise... in fact, the family all gathered around at 7 and we were glued! I had anticipated watching all of "A Glenbrooke Christmas," but the first hour had to be missed in order to finish "What I Did for Love." I miss those cowboy type movies, Hallmark used to do a lot of that style in the beginning with "Straight from the Heart," "Shadow on the Mesa," "Love Comes Softly," "Thinker than Water," etc... It was fun to revisit this one.

  5. New here. Been watching a long time. As for Christmas movies 2020, the best had to be "Heart Of The Holidays ". Carry on.

    1. Awe, Do right, Welcome to It's a Wonderful Movie! We are so glad to have you come here to visit and share your Christmas movie favorite with us!

I'm so glad you shared! In fact, I also enjoyed "Heart of the Holidays!" What a sweet rom-com. I too loved the romantic storyline and the wonderful, caring community! Corey Sevier has been one of my favorite actors for years... I would love to see him in a more dramatic, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries type Christmas movie again next year, like "Northern Lights of Christmas!"

Again, thank you so much for sharing! I added your review to the main Movie Review Post - *CLICK HERE*!

      Blessings! Net

  6. I, too, wish they would include the SSD Christmas movie in the marathons. Net, do you know if there will be any more SSD movies? They are wonderful and we love them. We can’t find any info on new installments in the series. Thanks for all you do!

    1. Thank you for your sweet comment regarding my site & "Signed, Sealed, Delivered!"

Hallmark first announced in the Summer of 2019 that a NEW "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" movie was in-the-works for 2020, until the virus changed those plans.

I am still hopeful they will keep the series going, based on it's popularity, and hopefully Hallmark will announce a new SSD movie will be coming this year or very soon.

Until then, please let Hallmark know you would like to see more "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" movies in the future! Thank you for sharing your love of this awesome series! :)

  7. It says above on the poster for A Glenbrooke Christmas "A Hallmark Movies And Mysteries Original" but it would appear to have originated with Reel One Entertainment!

They currently have completed movies by Stephen Huszar, Jon Cor and Corey Sevier available which could be picked up by any of the TV Channels.

But what really interests me is that they are showing a completed movie with Gabrielle Christian and Cody Ray Thompson titled Love's Second Chance as having been picked up by Hallmark!

  8. The Films That Make Me Cry

The last one that made me cry really hard was Portrait of a Lady on Fire. The ending of that movie, even thinking about it now I get teary. That ending is a real gut punch. All those Daniel Day-Lewis movies from the ’90s. Pretty much every single Daniel Day-Lewis movie from the ’90s makes me cry. Oh, and every Hallmark Christmas movie that came out this year.

      Have a Little Faith
      The Color of Rain
      Once Upon a Christmas Miracle
