A few Notes:
A Prince for Christmas was previously known as Small Town Prince.
Also, Christmas Truce (you may recall) was previously mentioned on this site - when it was first discovered, as they were filming. I personally thought (and I think some of you did, too!) that it looked more like a PBS type film, but I am quite interested to see ION open it's doors to a different type of Christmas film, then they typically air. Looks like a fascinating film, based on real history.
I'm delighted to see Doris Roberts (our Hallmark Mrs. Miracle!) included as part of the cast for the movie Merry Kissmas. She is listed last, so I'm wondering if she may only have a small role. Whatever the case, it will be fun to see her again in a Christmas movie!
Please know I am in the process of getting more Movie Images and Details for ALL of these movies above - so please stay tuned!!!
Aw, several of these sound SUPER cute. But then, I'm a totally Christmas movie nut so any new movies that premiere during the holidays is a kind of "guilty pleasure" treat. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm going to be busy watching a lot of movies! Better get my shopping done now. LOL

Actually ION did a similar looking film to Christmas Truce last year. I can't recall the name of the movie though
ReplyDeleteGreat news! I'll be watching on November 29th.
ReplyDeleteION aired "Anything But Christmas" in 2012. Does anyone know if it'll be shown again this year?
ReplyDeleteI am really looking forward to watching Christmas movies on the ion channel. Thanks ION
ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to watching Christmas movies on ION!

ReplyDeleteChadwick Davenport
Almost forgot about the ion Xmas movies, glad to find the 2015 ones playing this week since I had missed them all.
ReplyDeleteAnyone know the name of the movie where a man and a woman drive cross country to deliver a dog (snoops) to LA
ReplyDeleteI think Holiday Road Trip.
DeleteLoved them all. Also hope they do another Halloween movie because the story line You cast a spell on me beat all 4 of Hallmark Halloween movies. What would be great would be a sequel or that movie into a series. Also do at least one original movie or more a month I never watch ION except during those three months. Hooe to see more great holiday movies in a few months.
ReplyDeleteThat movie wasn't developed by Ion they just picked it up for distribution from Marvista. I don't think Ion has actually developed an original movie yet. They're usually just the distributor.
DeleteI want to buy Holiday Roadtrip. Does anyone know where to get it.?
ReplyDeleteOver the years I would look forward to watching somewhat Christian centered movies, but honestly over the last 2 years ION managed to Significantly reduce the number of Christian centered movies that they play on TV during Christmas time. Ion has taken on the same liberal views that our US government and local governments across this US has taken on if it’s Christ centered or has anything to do with Jesus they are trying to get rid of it so in 2022 I’m just going to see exactly what you all showed this year because of the last couple of years you all have done a horrible horrible job depicting what Christmas means everybody want to celebrate Christmas but they want to leave out the reason we celebrate Christmas. the whole reason for Christmas is the birth of Jesus Christ don’t forget it!!!!
