I'm especially excited to see Jesse Metcalfe in a new rom-com! This is Jesse Metcalfe's first return to the Hallmark Channel since Chesapeake Shores, and it sounds like from the movie description we'll likely get to hear Jesse sing in this new movie!

Interesting to see Ashley Williams and Niall Matter together again… they were fun together in the 2020 Christmas movie, Never Kiss a Man in a Christmas Sweater!

ReplyDeleteChristie, Wholeheartedly agree! So nice to see Jesse's return! He also has a Roku original movie called Summer Sparks premiering next week. It looks really sweet - so I'm hoping it's a good family film.

ReplyDeleteAll of the pairings look great to me, except for Kimberly and Jesse, she seems more like his older sister, I just don’t know if I’ll believe in their romance, but I’ll give it a try. Also excited to see Ashley and Niall together again.

Paula, I kinda wondered about that, too, with Kimberley Sustad and Jesse Metcalfe. In fact, I loved Merry Christmas, Ted Cooper, but I got that vibe with that one, too. I think it's because Kimberley's character was rather serious and Robert Buckley was fun and rather silly, at times, which of course, made him seem younger and carefree.
DeleteThese look amazing! So good to see so many familiar faces return. Daniel has done so many Hallmark movies now, makes you wonder why he left WCTH. Most excited to Jesse back. Makes me hopeful Hallmark would make more Martha's Vineyard so we could find out "who shot Jeff"!

DeleteAs for Daniel Lissing... I think the WCTH shoot was just too long for him in Canada, with his family in Australia. His new August movie, Aussie at Heart, was actually filmed in Queensland, Australia.

ReplyDeleteI just watched Never Kiss a man in a Christmas sweater for the 1st time and I really liked Niall and Ashley together. Hopefully this will be a good movie.
