This is Brett Varvel's first Christmas movie for Great American Family. I'm so delighted it will air on July 4th! I wonder if there will be any fireworks between Brett and Jillian's characters???

DeleteI just got a surge of the warm and fuzzies reading this. As far as Christmas in July goes, ANYTHING listed as new and/or original makes me soooo happy. The content and specifics don't even matter to me. They could point a still standing video camera at a Christmas tree for TWO hours and call it an original and I would be thrilled!

Net, I got a email from asking me if I liked tha July 4th date or would I I switch it to July 11. Because of July 4th being our 250th Birthday. I said I would switch it to July 11 because people might be watching Fireworks or enjoying the day with family. Yes I know they can dvr or watch it at a later date but I like the July 11 date better.

DeleteAlso, I prefer when they air their classic patriotic Christmas movies that day, and I usually leave it on in the background as we are having our family celebration.
Should be interesting to see what they decide.
I thought immediately they had zero shot with ratings airing their one new movie for July on the 4th. I feel it will be moved.
DeleteYay! Now we know that there will be at least one new Christmas movie being shown in July this year! And since both Hallmark and GAF are very competitive with each other, I'll bet that Hallmark debuts at least one new Christmas movie this July as well!

DeleteI thought I posted a comment about that. The rumors are true. New names for both titles I think-- the other is A Miniature Christmas --now called O Little Christmas Market with Stephen Huszar & Kat Barrell.
Deletethe other name change is for Uphill to Snowbound for the Holidays. Both are on imdb with their loglines.
