Great American Family has added a very sweet romantic comedy to their schedule for February!
Meet Me In New York
Starring: Brooke Nevin and Corey Sevier
Premiere Date: Saturday, February 7 at 8/7c on Great American Family
Storyline: Ambitious New York events planner Kelly is one of the best in the business. But when Joe, a stubborn, but influential website editor, hires her to organize his niece's birthday, Kelly soon realizes that she may have met her match.
*Note: This movie was released in 2022 and has been available on several streaming platforms, but it’s finally making its very first cable TV premiere on Great American Family! I’m so thrilled to see this delightful rom-com joining the GAF lineup and truly hope it will continue to encore there. I’ve been wishing for quite some time that GAF would add this sweet film to their movie library and it’s wonderful to see that's coming true!
Movie Reviews:
💕 Meet Me In New York - Starring Corey Savier & Brooke Nevin is certainly family friendly ~Anonymous
💕 Meet Me In New York - (watched on Dove Channel) First, this movie has excellent leads with Brooke Nevin and Corey Sevier. The chemistry is fantastic, it's funny, entertaining, and I thoroughly enjoyed it! There is one quick comment by Corey's character near the end about living with his previous girlfriend, but beyond that brief mention, the movie is completely G-rated and I loved the interaction between Corey and the young girl who portrayed his niece. This is one I'd love to have on DVD! ~Net

great cast!
ReplyDeleteYes, love these two! :)
DeleteI have missed Brooke Nevin. So glad to see her in a new (well, kind of new) movie!
ReplyDeleteMark - Yeah, it has been awhile since seeing Brooke. I just checked her IMDB and this is the last rom-com type movie she's done. That's really too bad... she's such a great actress in that genre.
DeleteAnd this reminds me... I didn't catch "On the Twelfth Day of Christmas" at Christmastime!!!! I'll have to see if I can find it to stream. Love that one!
Net, it's so funny that you mention "On the Twelfth Day of Christmas". About an hour ago I was going through a list I put together in November of older Hallmark Christmas movies I wanted to record on my dvr this year (since somehow they got deleted). This was one of two that somehow I missed (the other being "Five Star Christmas"). And unfortunately "Twelfth Day" is not on a Region 0 or 1 dvd! Oh well, at least there's "A Christmas Cure" to keep me from going through Brooke Nevin withdrawal! :)
DeleteCurrently you are able to watch "On the Twelfth Day of Christmas" streaming on fuboTV, Philo, Hallmark+ Amazon Channel, Hallmark+ Apple TV Channel, Hallmark TV Amazon Channel.
DeleteThere aren't any free streaming options for On the Twelfth Day of Christmas right now - as of 13 January - Florence
Mark and Florence, I actually purchased the DVD for "On the Twelfth Day of Christmas," even though I knew it wouldn't work on my player. (I keep planning to get a region-free player - one day!)
DeleteAnyway, a good friend informed me that it actually has extra scenes in it - never seen on Hallmark. From what I recall her saying... one of the scenes is at the end of the movie, and Brooke Nevin and Robin Dunne go to his father's house. I'm not sure how long that scene is or if there is any dialogue even, but just imagining it warms my heart!!!
Now I'm wondering if any of the streaming options have this extended version. I searched for "On the Twelfth Day of Christmas," and also discovered (like you said, Florence) there aren't any free options, at least not right now.
I've watched "Holiday Engagement" and "The Most Wonderful Time of the Year" through free streaming services and have seen more scenes in both.
Hmmmm??? If only we knew which streaming option might show the WHOLE movie???
If any of you have Hallmark+, would you mind checking "On the Twelfth Day of Christmas" - for that extra scene at the end?
It would be so great if we could find this!!! :)
Hey Net, they finally added this movie like you hoped they would! -Maria
ReplyDeleteMaria, Yes!!! This news made me so happy! Finally, they picked up this cute movie!
DeleteOut of curiosity, do you think that is your review above? I was 99.9% sure it was, but since it wasn't signed, I thought I better ask.
This looks sweet! Christie
ReplyDeleteChristie, It sure is, and by the way, the little girl plays Corey Sevier's niece.
DeleteI hope GAFAM add A Priceless Love
ReplyDeleteStarring Erin Agostino & Luke Humphrey
Great American Family has this movie already! You might want to keep a check on their schedule for an encore airing.
DeleteI also watched this movie on Dove channel last year, it was really cute! I also watched them both in “It Takes a Christmas Village” this past Christmas on UpTv, Dove? Can’t remember but it was also cute!
ReplyDelete~Paula
Paula, I love “It Takes a Christmas Village,” too!!! What a fun movie! It originally premiered years ago on Lifetime, and that's where I caught it over Christmas.
DeleteBut in case anyone else is interested, according to my quick Google search - “It Takes a Christmas Village” can currently be streamed for free on Plex!!!
Thank you, Paula, for mentioning this sweet Christmas movie! :)
It's not, I've never seen the movie, but it's a sweet review! -Maria
ReplyDeleteMaria, Okay, good to know! Thank you! I left it Anonymous above, unless someone else claims it.
DeleteI do think you will like it, though. It is such a sweet movie!
