Exciting Christmas movie news!
Not a creature was stirring.. not even a mouse! Well, in this case, it might be Mickey or Minnie Mouse!
During Hallmark's Christmas Experience program Saturday night, Lacey Chabert announced she is currently filming a new Hallmark Christmas movie for 2026 at Walt Disney Land Resort titled: "Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True"!

Mistletoe meets pixie dust! We’re so excited to announce Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True starring Lacey Chabert! This magical @Hallmark original movie is coming to Hallmark Channel in 2026! @DisneyParks pic.twitter.com/3W6eU2hAUd

I had a hunch this Christmas movie might be Lacey's big news since seeing a post from DoctorDisney on Instagram a few days ago (see image below) and other postings from visitors at the Walt Disney Land Resort, who spotted Lacey Chabert filming, along with Travis Van Winkle (Project Christmas Wish).
Storyline: "Lindsey (Chabert) and her extended family head to Walt Disney World to spend a magical Christmas together, but the dream of a jolly holiday gets quickly dashed when Lindsey discovers her room is next door to Philip (Van Winkle), a disastrous first date she recently had, who’s also there on a family trip. As Lindsey and Philip’s paths cross throughout their stay, the frost starts to thaw as they learn they’re not so different from each other after all. Thanks to some Walt Disney World magic, the holiday wish Lindsey made in Cinderella Fountain just might turn their rivalry into romance."
Are you excited to see these two filming at a location that is considered to be one of the most magical places on earth? Please share in comments below!

Lacey looks stunning in the silver dress! Hope she wears it in the movie. Also, great to see Travis. I think they’ll be great together.
ReplyDeleteI have to seriously laugh about this. The typical hallmark movie a disastrous first date. I was hoping with Michelle Vicary back we might get different plots.
ReplyDeleteyou mean like the disastrous blind date from 20 years ago on GAF? I like the older plots on both channels.
DeleteAs someone who is a big fan of WDW and a big fan of Lacey, I know I will be turning in to see this. And yes, Lacey looks fantastic in that dress!
ReplyDeleteThis is going to be spectacular! Hallmark and Disney together are a magical duo!
ReplyDeleteI saw her video on this yesterday and thought it was a great idea and I’m pretty sure it hasn’t been done before or at least not often. Looks like fun.
ReplyDeleteInteresting - They're planning ahead but will Hallmark still be around next Christmas in these uncertain times.
ReplyDeleteGood to see Travis Van Winkle back (hopefully) - Florence
considering they are still #1 on cable for scripted entertainment & have had the #1 movie every night from Thurs-Sun for Thanksgiving weekend, I'd say they're not going anywhere. If networks remain on air with less than 250k a year for 5 years, I think a network averaging over 700k a year will last a while longer. They also utilize linear for many other revenue stream opportunities including a well performing streaming app with their exclusive library. Now, other channels we may like...well, they're still hanging around with averages of under 100k for a year, yet they're announcing new projects for 2026. I think they know better than we do where they're headed.
Deleteis it filming in Disney Land but movie taking place in Disney World? Why not just say the movie is where it is filmed? Seems weird. Feel like I have seen this movie many times over. Hoping there are at least kids in these extended families cause adults going to Disney for a vacation is strange.

DeleteThis already looks and sounds so cute! Christie
ReplyDeleteThis looks like it could be a really cute movie. I’m not a huge Disney fan but I am a fan of Lacey and Travis (loved all three of his Christmas movies, with Christmas Getaway probably my favorite). And I like Lacey’s sparkly dress but I think of the two photos in this post, I prefer her looking cute and natural in the ruffled denim skirt and boots -- she and Travis look like a cute couple. And even though I’m not a huge fan of the NFL or Disney, I can see that both are creative and unique ways for Hallmark to generate new (and large!) financial backing, but also, potentially, some new viewers. These corporate partnerships embedded into our sweet movies seem tacky to me but, perhaps, it's the only way for Hallmark to stay afloat, so kudos to them for thinking outside the box. ~~Jane
