  1. I like Emelie Ullerup and will watch cause of her, but I am not ever a fan of the traveling movies. Sorry. I love the US and there is a lot of it to enjoy. Don't need the amazon or island resorts. Good to see her and Polaha reuniting.

  2. Interesting bunch of movies from Hallmark for January.

The perceived opinion is that they will cut back considerably on the number of new movies they air in 2026.

I was expecting 3 so this is a bonus.

You can't escape the fact that cable is dying - in 2020 88% of households had cable and this is now down to less than 25% - the numbers are beginning to look frighteningly irrelevant.

Back in 2020 Hallmark's Christmas movies averaged 2.9m viewers, this had dropped to 1.51 in 2024 and to date this season are only 1.2m close to the significant 1m mark.

    On paper these look good.

Ian Harding although he doesn't appear often may very well be my favorite male actor at the moment so I'm looking forward to seeing how he teams up with Lacey.

Mallory Jensen is far and away my fav actress currently although I've never heard of Ryan Corr - apparently he's Australian.

Don't know what to expect from Jaicy Elliott and Rafael de la Fuente but the synopsis looks good.

And fascinating to see the returns of Rachel Leigh Cook and Emille Ullerup both of whom have been missing from HM for some considerable time.

I'm hopeful for these movies in the uncertain times ahead for Cable - Florence

  4. Was hoping for more winter type movies. Snow themed. These sound better for summertime

  5. I love the travel movies! I get travel places that I haven't been and at least see a bit even though it isn't the focus of the storyline.

  6. Agreed, although if these seemed like remotely wintery retreats I wouldn’t mind, but alas apparently hallmark thought the lovely winterfest weren’t good enough

  7. I'm with you on this, Sabrina! I don't enjoy most of the "traveling movies" because they seem like travelogues that spend so much time showing the sites instead of furthering the storyline or developing the characters more. If I want to see the sites of a country, I'll watch Rick Steve's programs.
