Do You Feel the Seasons Changing and God's Peace in the Storm?

 Dear friends,

This is the last official weekend of Summer, and Autumn is literally right around the corner. As seasons change, may we reflect on the blessings we’ve enjoyed this year and look forward to new beginnings. May this new season bring peace to our hearts, joy to our days, and a renewed sense of God’s presence in every step!

On Saturday night, "Crossroad Springs" returns with a powerful new episode, "Storm on the Horizon". The title alone reminds us how storms are a part of life, yet we are never left to face them alone. “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble” (Psalm 46:1).

And for a little extra comfort, I’ve also gathered this weekend’s lineup of cozy TV movie classics, including Christmas and non-holiday favorites. See below…

Also, before I end this post, I wanted to mention, as some of you likely know, the Memorial Service for Charlie Kirk, honoring his life and legacy, is this Sunday.

Charlie will be deeply missed for the way he fearlessly proclaimed and lived out his love for Jesus during his 31 years.

Like so many of you, my heart is broken over this loss. Yet even through many tears, I'm clinging to the promises of God. His Word reminds us to walk by faith and remember that in Christ, death is not the end. We grieve, but we do so with the eternal hope that belongs to every believer.

(I've included the Sinner's prayer at the end of this post if you'd like to ask Jesus into your heart today.)

Let us continue to lift up Charlie’s family, friends, and our nation in prayer. And may we hold fast to Jesus, the One who is our true comfort and our peace in the midst of every storm.

I pray this will be a true turning point for our country and the world, as hearts turn back to Christ.

The Memorial Service for Charlie Kirk airs Sunday, September 21st, at 2pm EST. on Real America's Voice, RSBN, Newsmax, Fox News, and various streaming sources.

Blessings to You All...
My Dear Friends,
Net

SHINING HIS LIGHT:

"Fear not, for I am with you;
be not dismayed,
for I am your God;
I will strengthen you,
I will help you,
I will uphold you
with my righteous right hand."
~Isaiah 41:10

Sinner’s Prayer:

Dear God, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I am truly sorry for my sins and for the ways I have turned from You. I believe that Jesus, Your Son, died for my sins and rose again, and I choose to turn from my old life and follow Him.

I confess Jesus as my Lord and Savior, and I invite Him into my heart and my life. Please fill me with Your peace, guide me in Your ways, and help me to walk in Your love each day. Thank You for Your mercy, Your grace, and the gift of salvation. Amen.

  3. Beautiful post about Charlie, Net. So heartbreaking and praying for his wife and that she has the support she needs right now, and for years to come raising her babies. Ultimately the Lord will be her strength but praying she has family and friends close to her to help as we all need help sometimes. And thank you for standing in your faith and sharing the sinners prayer with those who need it. Have a blessed weekend everyone!

  4. For those who do not know, Charlie Kirk was killed for his faith in Jesus; not for political reasons. We are in a spiritual war. May God strengthen us as we go into battle.

    Some of the posts on here regarding Charlie are so beautiful. Thanks for your encouraging words Net, and others who spoke from the heart. I did not know him, and yet, I grieve because of this act of hatred toward another person.

      The commercial tribute for Charlie Kirk on Great American Family is deeply moving. I was truly grateful they honored him in such a meaningful way, especially by including scripture.

      It’s amazing how much one life can make an impact when it’s lived with faith and purpose.

  13. Crossroad Springs -Season 1 Episode 4

    James 1:12 - Bible verse (KJV) - DailyVerses.netJames 1:12 is a biblical verse found in the New Testament that states: "Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him". The verse highlights that enduring difficulties & temptations leads to a blessed state & the eventual reward of the crown of life, which represents eternal life for those who remain faithful to God.

    Key Aspects of James 1:12
    "Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial": This identifies those who endure various hardships, tests, & temptations as having God's special favor.
    "When he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life": The reward for enduring these trials is the "crown of life," a symbol of eternal life and victory in Christ.
    "God has promised to those who love him": This promise is specifically for those who demonstrate their love for God through their faithful endurance.

    Context
    This verse is part of a longer section in James chapter 1 that discusses the nature of trials, temptations, and the importance of asking God for wisdom. James contrasts the nature of trials that refine faith with temptations that arise from a person's own desires. James 1:13-15, for example, clarifies that God cannot be tempted with evil & does not tempt anyone, but people are tempted when they are drawn away by their own desires
