Breaking Movie News!
Hallmark has just completed production on "Haul Out the Halloween"!
TVinsider revealed this interesting movie news... "Once again set within the community of Evergreen Lane, the new movie brings back star and exec-producer Lacey Chabert, Wes Brown, and their motley crew of crack-up neighbors played by Melissa Peterman (Happy’s Place, Finding Mr. Christmas), Stephen Tobolowsky (Nobody Wants This), and Ellen Travolta (General Hospital) for a spooky-season storyline that comes with a so on-brand added bonus: Joining the gang for the fun this time are Halloweentown‘s Kimberly Brown and her real-life husband — and Halloweentown II costar — Daniel Kountz."
Hallmark released this storyline,“For a neighborhood as renowned for its spectacular holiday displays as Evergreen Lane, the street has long been modest when it comes to Halloween. But when fun and spooky new neighbors, Luna (Brown) and Marvin (Kountz) move to the block, Emily (Chabert), Jared (Brown), and the rest of the HOA agree to get in on the seasonal fun and launch EverSCREAM Lane to fundraise for a local charity. As the block pulls together to plan creepy contests, spine-chilling dΓ©cor and a spooktacular carnival, new haunted hijinks ensue with Pamela (Peterson), Ned (Tobolowsky), Mary Louise (Travolta), and the rest of the block. Through the process, Emily rediscovers the joys of the holiday that she and her late grandmother once cherished.”
While the official air date hasn’t been announced just yet, it’s a pretty safe bet we’ll see it this October as part of Hallmark Channel’s Fall Into Love movie lineup!
Lacey shared this fun video of the cast today...
I would totally give this one a watch but don’t celebrate Halloween or any of the “spookiness”.

Paula, I feel the same way. I usually skip most Halloween programming, unless it's the Charlie Brown cartoon or a classic like 'Meet Me in St. Louis' on TCM.
DeleteReally hoping this one steers clear of anything gory. If it goes down that road, I’m definitely out.
I’m hoping that too, I love Charlie Brown and the great pumpkin, they could really make this movie a family friendly fall-Halloween-cozy type movie
DeleteI love Haul out the Holly & the sequel, now a Halloween movie, I love this news
ReplyDeleteYeah, I'm wondering what this means for Emily and Jared. When we last left them, they were newly engaged. I'm hoping they are still engaged in this movie and will have a Christmas-themed wedding.
DeleteI was wondering too! It has to be a Christmas wedding. I mean, they fell in love at Christmas, so it only makes sense. Please don’t let it be Halloween! Christie
DeleteThat would be fantastic, a Christmas wedding. Here’s to hoping
DeleteI agree!! Please no spooky wedding!! ;)
DeleteI don’t celebrate Halloween, I celebrate Reformation Day! The day Martin Luther hung the 95 theses.
ReplyDeleteI’ll watch it since it’s part of a series.
While I'm a fan of both Lacey Chabert and Wes Brown The Haul Out The Holly movies were terrible so this is a miss - Florence
ReplyDeleteFlorence, I know you and I were in the minority of not caring for either of the Haul Out the Holly movies, so yes, I will be joining you in skipping this new one.
DeleteI’ll join that minority, Mark 25. I think Haul out the Holly was awful, only to be repeated by another awful one. Now they’re doing it agin? Oh brother. -Anonymous1
DeleteIt seems odd, Mark - maybe for some reason they're popular with Hallmark fans in particularbut the ratings on IMdB are not that good - 6.0 for the first, 5.6 for the second - Florence
ReplyDeleteI hope this year we have a Thanksgiving themed movie or two. I love “love at the Thanksgiving day parade”, an enjoy” “holiday engagement”, I like “guess who’s coming to Christmas” which starts at Thanksgiving & “hitched for the holidays”, I watch those between my fall harvest (new & rewatches) & Christmas movies, really keeps things festive
