A minor adjustment has been made to the previously announced schedule for the Hallmark Channel's 2025 Loveuary movies, and I wanted to make certain that everyone who visits here is informed of this update.
The recent change is a minor swap of two movies airing in February, plus Hearties will also want to note that When Calls the Heart will air at a different time and day.
The Wish Swap, starring Emily Tennant and Jake Foy, will now premiere on Saturday, February 8th, at 8pm/7c. Pascale Hutton (When Calls the Heart) will have a role in this movie (press image seen below), and you'll also see Crystal Lowe (Signed, Sealed, Delivered) in the supporting cast.

Sisterhood, Inc., starring Rachael Leigh Cook, Daniella Monet, and Leonidas Gulaptis, will now premiere on Saturday, February 22nd, at 8pm/7c.
Why did the schedule change? My guess is that Hallmark decided to switch these movies around since Pascale Hutton is in the film The Wish Swap, and When Calls the Heart will be airing that same Saturday night at a special time - 10pm/9c.!
So... why is When Calls the Heart airing on Saturday night on February 8th and not at it's usual time on Sunday night? The weekend in question coincides with Super Bowl Sunday, which falls on February 9th. Therefore, it seems justified to reschedule the air date to Saturday, as millions of viewers will be focused on the game on Sunday.
10 p.m. may be considered somewhat late, which could lead to some viewers expressing dissatisfaction; however, I am confident that dedicated fans will still tune in to watch or record the program regardless.

I definitely noticed the schedule change during The Perfect Setting, and IMO, that WCTH episode is definitely going to take a hit in the ratings because of how late that slot is and people not knowing when it's on. -Maria
ReplyDeleteMaria, I think you're right. Hopefully, the word will get out, but still... there will likely be many disappointed viewers who miss it. I thought, perhaps, they might air it both nights for those who might still tune in at it's usual time on Sunday, but no, they are airing a marathon of "The Way Home," instead.
DeleteI'm really surprised they didn't move the new movie up an hour on Saturday night so WCTH could air at 9pm EST. as it usually does. 10pm for a family show is pretty late.
Noting this now. Thanks for the info.
ReplyDeleteHmm… won’t bother me, we’ll get to see WCTH a day early!
ReplyDeleteSomeone Like You will made is network premiereon Great American Family on February 22. Perhaps that is the reason for the movie swap.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the update.
