ReplyDeleteIt was so encouraging listening to President Trump’s speech. Especially when he mentioned drilling and no more woke. And what a great prayer that was by Franklin Graham. Gave me chills!! I pray that the Lord will work in P. Trump, first for salvation because it’s very clear he’s unsaved, but not impossible for the Lord to save. π And second that God will bless his efforts these 4 coming years so America will prosper and that the gospel would spread and people would rely less on themselves and Trust in Him!
ReplyDeleteAbigail, Bless you for sharing this. It was certainly beautiful during the Inaugural Ceremony to hear all of the inspirational Christian songs, like "Great is Thy Faithfulness". And yes, Franklin Graham was absolutely wonderful. I've heard President Trump speak of attending Rev. Billy Graham crusades with his father when he was young and it's obvious those memories touch his heart. As the Bible says, "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." (Proverbs 22:6) I pray that is true here.
DeleteHe certainly has been a friend to believers and religious freedom. It was incredible to hear him say that he believes God spared his life in Butler, Pennsylvania. I believe that, too.
I loved it too! -Maria
DeleteI’m looking forward to this. Christie
