Alert all of your family and friends to tune in for the first episode of "County Rescue" TONIGHT, Monday, February 26th, on Great American Family at 8pm/7c.!
Episode 1 ∙ Pilot
Dani (Julia Reilly) answers a personal calling to become an EMT at County Rescue where she meets Tim (Riley Hough) who is also a new probationary. The pair meet Chief Scotty (Tim Perez-Ross) who lets them know unexpected budget cuts will only allow him to hire one new EMT and that he will make his decision at the end of the probationary period. The only other wrinkle is the Fire Chief’s son, Griffin (Keller Fornes) is also a contender for the open job and is confident he will be the hire. At home, Dani seeks support from her family who have some skepticism she will stick with her calling.
I received an invitation to see the early screening of County Rescue, but unfortunately, I was not able to attend.
EARLY REVIEWS for COUNTY RESCUE:
"The virtual screening of #countyrescue was so fun! I hope @GAfamilyTV can plan more events like this in the future. I know I am going to love this series after watching episode 1. Great acting-exciting storylines-and faith based!! #greatamericanfamily just keeps getting better!" ~blessedgigi23
"Infused with camaraderie, peppered with humor, and connected with a throughline of good intentions, "CR" has all the makings of a hit with its chemistry-linked stellar ensemble players at its helm bringing to life well-meaning scripts. GAM/GAF should be commended for bringing such wholesome faith-based, #family-friendly programming (of modern times, unlike that of Hallmark Channel's popular tame, faith-like yesteryear period series "When Calls the Heart") to screens." (See full review here) ~Chris Buono
"I was able to watch the screening of the 1st episode of #CountyRescue tonight. When it premieres, BE SURE TO WATCH IT! Great ensemble cast, heart pounding scenes, emotional & 100% faith-filled! I’m looking forward to the entire 1st season & already hoping for a 2nd!" π±ππ¬ ~CattLovesMovies

DVR set and ready! So nice to see a show that for once doesn't want to treat first responders like some kind of crazed soap opera. -Maria
ReplyDeleteMaria, Yes, I so agree... it will be nice to see people who are serving others because they feel it is their calling from God. I sure hope this show will be inspirational, not only to us viewers, but to those who work as EMTs. ~Net
DeleteI enjoyed the show, but why 45 minutes instead of a full hour ?
DeleteI'll be tuning in! I'm thrown, though, by it being 45 minutes instead of an hour. Odd, and I want a full hour! :)
ReplyDeleteAmy G, That timing surprised me, too.
DeleteAt first, I wondered if, maybe, they were doing limited commercial interruption for this first episode only and that's why the shortened viewing time, but I checked next week, and according to the schedule I saw, episode 2 is also 45 minutes long.
Happy watching tonight!!! :)
I have watched the 1st episode already from Pure flix and I just absolutely loved it! This show is definitely going to be for older children, i think the younger kids just won't understand what is happening, but I would say it is family friendly.
ReplyDeleteGrear show will continue watching. Loved the Christmas movie announcement too
ReplyDeleteWill it be reaired on TV before next week’s episode as I missed it? π
ReplyDeleteYes, you can see the first episode of "County Rescue" again! It won't air before the 2nd episode on Monday night, but they are replaying episodes 1 and 2 on Wednesday, March 6th at 4pm and 4:45pm. I hope you can watch or record them then. The first episode was filled with a lot of heart and emotion. I hope you enjoy it! :)
DeleteBlessings, Net
I missed it.
ReplyDelete1st episode is fantastic!! I definitely approve. And did you all see that small promo blurb that says Jill Wagner and Jesse Hutch are doing a Christmas movie?!! -Maria
ReplyDeleteCounty Rescue
ReplyDeleteDani starts her new job as a probationary EMT: she soon learns another obstacle that may keep her from God’s calling
It’s seem God listening to Dani God wants Dani to make difference
It’s seem Tim really like Danielle in Season 1: Episodes 2 as long as they bond in Season 1: Episode 1
It’s only 45 mins long since it’s air on Great American PureFlix & later on, it’s air on Great American Family is also 45 mins instead of hour
Dani is all do is pray time
Really enjoyed this premiere! It’s nice to see Great American Family air something new and faith oriented on a weekly basis. I can’t wait to see the next ep.
