The Hallmark Channel premiered FIVE ALL NEW ORIGINAL MOVIES as part of *JUNE WEDDINGS* 2019...
Please share "YOUR TAKE" on this recent block of Original TV movies in comments below by answering these Two Questions...
1. Which "JUNE WEDDINGS" Movie did you like/love the most?
2. Which "JUNE WEDDINGS" Poster (above) do you like best?
I'll go first...
#1 Favorite Movie: Sister of the Bride, Wedding at Graceland, and The Last Bridesmaid!
(sorry - I couldn't pick one!)
#2 Favorite Poster: Sister of the Bride - love the Americana, patriotic feel!
And, for a more wedding look, I love Wedding at Graceland and The Last Bridesmaid!

2. Favorite poster: Love, Take Two (great carved heart theme)
I usually don't enjoy Wedding March movies, but this time it was watchable. Cindy Busby is great ;)

ReplyDeleteBridesmaid.
2. Favorite Poster: The Last Bridesmaid
Favorite June weddings movie: Hands down Wedding at Graceland, with Wedding March 5 a very close second. Same for the posters, but I'd like to add Sister of the Bride, as I love the patriotic look!
ReplyDeleteBarbara, That patriotic theme in the Sister of the Bride poster touches me, too! Hallmark really knows how to celebrate each holiday, and I'm especially glad how they honor our military with their films and our country, in this instance, with this 4th of July themed movie.
DeleteFavorite movie and poster is the same - The Last Bridesmaid. I loved Sister of the Bride right up until the end. They spent so much time playing up how she was always the adventurous one and sort of marched to the beat of her own drum that I was expecting her to realize that, while tenure is nice and all, moving to England and teaching there would be a wonderful and exciting adventure. In the end it felt like she played it safe instead of opting for expanding her horizons. I know they showed that she had almost thrown her dream away for her former boyfriend, but this didn't seem like the same kind of situation at all. It was a nice compromise at the end, but I personally would have preferred her to go for the adventure.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I, too, was a little surprised, LadyMustang, that they didn't move to England in the end. I guess they thought the compromise of going there for a few weeks would please everyone. Plus, I suppose it's kind of nice to think they will be newly married and near family as they begin their own family... 4-6 children and a couple of dogs!
DeleteMy favorite was Last Bridesmaid, although there didn't seem to be a proposal. Haven't seen Sister of the Bride, but it looks like a good one. Happy to see all the Christmas movies coming out. Surprised Godwink Christmas was not on the list. Hoping for Return to Christmas Creek(great to see Stephen Weber again), Godwink Christmas, Time for me to come home for Christmas, Mingle all the way, Christmas Getaway, Love Always, Santa, Sharing Christmas, Sleigh Bells Ring and Twelfth Day of Christmas(glad we have this one on our dvr, we watch it so much). Thank you Hallmark for the new releases. Hope there will be more. Thank you Net for keeping us posted of the new movie releases. We will be ordering Once upon a Christmas miracle, Christmas at Pemberly Manor, and, of course, Veteran's Christmas. RG
ReplyDeleteExcellent choice, RG! Maybe, if there's a sequel to The Last Bridesmaid there will be a proposal then.
DeleteI'm so glad you all also saw many wonderful Christmas movies to add to your DVD collection. I was so excited to share the new DVDs with all of you... I'm hoping we will get many more - especially ALL the ones you mentioned! I'm also surprised A Godwink Christmas wasn't in this first big release of 2018 Christmas movies. Maybe next time. I hope!
By the way, On the Twelfth Day of Christmas is an absolute favorite of mine too! :)
