    1. Awe, I agree! It's been too long since we've seen Leah Renee on Hallmark!

I also love her Hallmark movie - "Love by the Book" and her UP Christmas movie with Niall Matter - "Falling for Christmas."

And... I happened to notice a fun fact: Leah's character's name is Claire in "Falling for Christmas" and in "Sailing into Love!"

      Blessings! Net

  5. Loved this charmer with my fave HM leading man Chris McNally and Leah Renee. Everything was spot on!...the chemistry , the music and beautiful location. Does help that Chris McNally can fill out a Navy uniform looking very handsome!

    1. Me too, Amanda! I'm such a big fan of Falling for Christmas; they really need to put that movie on DVD! I just love Leah as Claire, the figure skater... especially when she meets Niall Matter, the ex-hockey player! :)

This movie was a fresh take on a love story. Agree that Chris McNally just took the navy uniform to the next level. The schooner had a character of its own and shots of the sailing scenes were great. Love the ending scene.

  8. Really loved this story.I was very happy to watch a movie where there was no lie to cause the conflict in the plot. The lighthouse is awesome and the scenery was beautiful.

I wish for a repeat of Love by the Book now though ... :)

    1. I agree with you. Too bad we didn't get to see her wedding dress up close - did you see that train hanging off the schooner? Wow!

    2. I second your WOW, Namegirl... I thought that end scene was gorgeous - like a living painting or work of art -- with Leah in the gorgeous bridal gown (oh yes, I saw the beautiful wedding dress draped off the side of the boat in such a stunning fashion!) and Chris dressed in uniform. Again, it was all breathtaking!

Also, the song at the beginning is called, "It All Starts Now" by a Christian group called The Afters:)

Truly, this makes me love "Sailing into Love" even more - because I also love the Christian group, The Afters!

I just checked and Amazon has "It All Starts Now" listed as a new release from their latest Album, Fear No More! You can listen to a clip of it there too! It was just released May 31st!

Thank you, Thank you... so much for sharing this info with us! Going back to listen now! :)

  10. I agree the music in this one was pretty awesome and I've since become a fan of Christian musos The Afters and Drew and Ellie Holcomb after hearing their beautiful songs in the movie. Judging by the poll on Net's Best Summer movie , it looks like Sailing into Love is a hands down fan favourite and rightly so. Once in a while HM just produces a gem among its usual fare. It did help that everything else was spot on ...the storyline, beautiful location, music, believable chemistry between very pleasing to tbe eye leads and a schooner that deserved it own credit😎 well done HM on Sailing into Love😍😍
