“Crown Media Family Networks is the sole owner of Christmas and Hallmark Channel’s beloved ‘Countdown To Christmas’ has become an annual destination and a fundamental part of millions of families’ holiday celebrations,” said Michelle Vicary, Executive Vice President, Programming, Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.
“The holidays are the most magnetic time of year and this year’s programming promises to deliver above and beyond any standard the network has ever set. There is no stronger connection to viewers than the Hallmark brand to celebrate every aspect of Christmas, especially on television,” Vicary concluded.

-------------------END of PRESS RELEASE--------------------
So, that's the list! Have you checked it twice?
What do you think?
Do you think Santa would say, "It's Nice." ?
There are a few changes... different movie titles, etc. Plus, the Signed, Sealed, Delivered Christmas Movie was not mentioned. So, that leaves me wondering... What will they do with it? I know it was already filmed and ready to go, so I am quite puzzled. Sounds like a good mystery for the POstables to solve! (Update below image)
Let's "Countdown to Christmas"
Together and with Hallmark!
UPDATE: The Movie: Signed, Sealed, Delivered For Christmas will premiere on the newly branded Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Channel. Click here for more details.
I'm so excited! Thanks for all the hard work you do. I'm so glad I stumbled on your blog a while back
ReplyDeleteThank you. I'm glad you found my site, too. Welcome! Please make yourself at home!
DeleteI can't wait!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI know! But, it's all coming so fast! I think we will be surprised at how fast it gets here... and then, how fast it flys by...
DeleteI hope this years movies are as good as last years. But honestly, where did the summer go.
ReplyDeleteI so agree, Casey. Summer absolutely flew by! It actually felt (with such cooler temps then usual) like we went from Spring, straight to Autumn.
DeleteNet, I have a question. Are there also new movies coming out after the countdown period?
ReplyDeleteSorry, I guess I should have read the article first. When they said Countdown I figured it was the after Halloween before Thanksgiving time frame. But they mean it as before Christmas. Sorry
ReplyDeleteThe Countdown actually begins on Halloween with the airing of a Christmas Movie that night at 8 PM - A Princess for Christmas. Then, the New Movies will start with One Starry Christmas on November 1st and then each weekend there will be new movies during the Countdown to Christmas period until December 14 with The Christmas Parade.
DeleteI really enjoy your blog. Thank you so much for keeping us fans informed. I was wondering, do you think it is possible that the Signed, Sealed and Delivered Christmas movie will be shown on the newly branded Hallmark Movies and Mysteries Channel, since the series revolves around solving a mystery about a letter or package that is lost? Do you know if there be a press release for which Christmas films will be shown on the new Hallmark branded channel. If so, fingers crossed, that is where the Signed, Sealed, Delivered film will air.
ReplyDeleteThank you! So glad you enjoy the blog!
DeleteYes, I do think it is possible that Signed Sealed Delivered will be sent over to the Hallmark Movies and Mysteries Channel. Good detective work! I have not received official word on this, yet, but I am suspecting it.
Unfortunately... I have received so many comments and e-mails from concerned fans of SSD, who do not have the Hallmark Movies and Mysteries station, and so want to see it return for a second season to the regular Hallmark Channel. I think many will be quite disappointed, if it moves there.
Also, you asked about the Hallmark Movies and Mysteries Christmas Moves... I have been in touch with Hallmark, and news on their Christmas Movies is to be officially released next week!
Wonderful news. All the new movies sound great. Do you know if Home and Family will do another two hour evening special like last year?
ReplyDeleteYes, it is all wonderful news! I haven't heard about another Home and Family Prime-Time Christmas Special, yet, but I would say it's a safe bet!
DeleteThank-you for your hard work. We love this website.
ReplyDeleteOh, Thank YOU! I appreciate ALL of You and your Encouraging Comments so much! Glad you enjoy it!
DeleteYay! I was wondering what Candace's movie was called! They are (or were) filming it in Utah.
ReplyDeleteBut, the movie I'm looking forward to most is Autumn's the end of this month! LOL :)
Wish they would now release more movies on DVD from last year.
Misty
Candace's movie is titled: Christmas Under Wraps. I think it's fabulous they were able to film in Utah... in the good old USA!!!
DeleteI'm looking forward to it, too, Misty... and Autumn's movie: Midnight Masquerade!!!! Sounds so Mysterious!
I also wish they would release more on DVD! As it gets closer to Christmas, I hope there will be more Christmas Movies to come on DVD! Hopefully!!!
I love this site. Thanks for including me. I am always looking to see if something new has been added. I watch my e-mail every morning. Marianne
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Marianne, for your encouraging and supportive comment! It's my JOY to share this Family Movie News and I'm delighted that YOU enJOY it, too!!! Net :)
