Catch the Movie *Hometown Hero* about a Vet and Dog 🐕 - Thursday, September 10th on the Hallmark Channel! 🐕 SEE HERE:

Once in awhile, the Hallmark Channel premieres a movie from the PixL library of films. For those of us who have never seen these movies, they are obviously completely new to us.

"Hometown Hero" stars Brooke Nevin, Jake Sandvig, Antonio Sabato Jr., and Megan Price. This movie first premiered on the PixL Channel in 2017, and it will be airing for the first time on the Hallmark Channel.

Storyline via PixL: A cynical divorce mediator (Brooke Nevin) is forced to care for a client’s dog. The mischievous hound warms her heart, and after spending time with the local vet (Jake Sandvig), she begins to find that maybe the true love she dared not believe in is actually closer than she thinks.

Please Note: I have not viewed this movie; however, the PixL movies are typically very family friendly.

  1. This movie looks like a must-see. Since I will be working at that time, my recorder will be on. Thanks for info Net. Did any of the cold weather/snow reach you?

    1. kitkat, I agree, this one looks very sweet. I'm recording, too!

No cool weather here in the Midwest. We've been hot and muggy. I think a drop in the temps is on the way... soon! Stay cool on the east coast, my friend!

  3. Never give an animal as a gift! It should be a well though out addition to the family!
