  2. I'm glad for an extra movie thrown in, but...

Sigh.... Again, sigh (with an eye roll thrown in).

Between the constant (early) Christmas schedule changes and the mystery of the changing dates for the Fall Harvest Preview Special (which now has no date), my brain is exhausted.

    1. I feel the same. Exhausted! I wonder if Hallmark made all of these changes before Candace filmed her preview specials. I'm beginning to feel it's not so important to catch the first preview show, since there have been so many changes since then.

You know, if they add in a new Christmas movie, great, but I would love it if they could just keep everything else where they've already been announced.

    2. Thank you for taking the time to do this for us, Net! I just wait until the movies start. I still remember how mad I was when Christmas At Green Valley was changed several times. I just don't take the schedule seriously.

    3. You're welcome, Misty! It is challenging to keep up with all of these recent changes. I also remember how much they changed "Christmas at Grand Valley" around last year. Even Danica McKellar and Brennan Elliott, who starred in the movie, had a hard time keeping up to inform their followers when to watch. I guess we never know 100% if something is going to air until it actually does! Still waiting for Candace's "Christmas Across America."

  3. I had a feeling there would be a new movie, cause I looked at when all the movies will be airing in December, and guess what, there was a blank for the 27th at 8 pm. so that got me thinking there would be a movie added there. see, I know Hallmark so well. I thought it was either a new movie, or they would be doing a special there, or a reairing of Christmas Camp there saying new sunday premiere.

    1. Hey Sabrina! I had that same feeling... especially when I saw Lifetime was going to have a new Christmas movie premiere that night. I, too, thought it might be "Christmas Camp," since they've done that same thing before with Christmas in July, but I'm also not surprised they went with something new to compete with Lifetime on the opening Christmas weekend launch to the Holiday season.

Adding in the new movie is great, but I don't understand why they had to make so many other changes. If any viewer out there is following the previous Christmas specials, then they've got the schedules all wrong.

  4. wait, I put on to record the fall preview special for sunday night at 11 pm, is it not on then?

    1. That's right, Sabrina, the Fall Harvest preview special is not airing this Sunday night, after all. Instead, Lacey Chabert and Brennan Elliott will be giving Fall Harvest movie previews during an encore airing of "All Of My Heart: The Wedding" on Saturday, September 28th. But with only three movies now, there's not much to preview.

  5. Net, this question isn't a Christmas movie one. What is up with 'Over The Moon In Love' and 'Country At Heart' both saying they will air October 5th! They have 'My One And Only' showing on the 21st! Makes no sense!

    1. Hello Misty!

I think we're all wondering... WHAT HAPPENED TO THE FALL HARVEST MOVIES???

It has been such a confusing week for this block of movies. On Tuesday, a press release went out mentioning ALL 5 Fall Harvest films.

Then yesterday, (Thursday) the number of movies was reduced to three. At first, "Over the Moon in Love" was gone, but later in the day it returned, and "Country at Heart" AND "Love Under the Olive Tree" have been removed from the Fall Harvest films and Hallmark's schedule.

At this point, I'm just as puzzled as all of you. What happened to these movies? Why are they being removed after being announced on Hallmark's web-site and in a press release? So many questions.

This does seem terribly unfair and confusing for viewers. Just yesterday I saw the Fall Harvest commercial with all 5 movies. I'm sure many viewers are still expecting to see them.

And, if they are moving these movies to Hallmark Movies Now, that is completely unfair for those who don't have this service, especially when they've already been announced to air on the Hallmark Channel.

  6. Im looking forward to new movies but not new actors to hallmark.some have been on shows that are out of character for family value movies that Hallmark represents.dont understand why they picked them.thanks for keeping us up to date.

  8. Why did Hallmark remove Cheerful Christmas on their schedule? They said 26 new Hallmark Christmas movies. Now was 25 New Christmas movies.

Hallmark Will Air Over 40 New Original Christmas Movies This Year on The Hallmark Channel & Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.

Are you a fan of Hallmark Christmas Movies? This year Hallmark will air more than 40 original Christmas movies on both the Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies and Mysteries.

    1. Great question. I only wish I knew why they chose to add it in one day and suddenly remove it. It's always possible they may bring it back or add in something else. :)

    1. I saw that too, and updated above! Looks like it's the plan "right now" to replace "Christmasland" with "A Cheerful Christmas!"
