As We Celebrate *5 Months* until Christmas Day -- Here are *5 Things* To Do Today!

Today is July 25th! Yay! We have finally reached the mark of 5 months until Christmas Day! Can you believe it? As hot as it is this July - Christmas can be the farthest thing away from many of our minds, but since the calendar tells us it is getting ever increasingly closer, we mustn't hesitate in preparing ahead!

So here are 5 things to do today!

#5. Make a list! Check it Twice! Who do you plan to buy for, this Christmas? How much you plan to spend? Do you have any ideas for each individual? Also, what goodies do you plan to bake? What traditions do you plan to re-create? Writing it down, is the best part of planning!

#4. Ornaments! Hallmark just recently released their newest Christmas Keepsake Ornaments! Are there any new ones you would like to add to your collection this year? I have included lots and lots of new ones below! (I think the last one is my personal favorite - What do you think?)

#3. Cards! This would be a perfect time to get out that Christmas Card list, starting first with your address book, and checking to see who has moved, etc... As a bonus, you most likely can get a great deal on buying cards early. (on-line, of course - stores most likely won't have them, yet!)

#2. DVDs! Today, being the 25th, is the perfect day to pick out a favorite Christmas DVD to watch and dream about Christmas and Snowy Winter White Days! As for the New Christmas movies on DVD, that are being released for this season, we do know a few, so far (mentioned below!).... but, there are always Christmas DVDs from previous years, too, that you may still want to add to your collections. I have included some new ones and favorites below...

#1. Decide on which charitable organizations or cause you and your family would like to donate to. Perhaps, giving now, would help to ease your pocketbook at Christmastime, and many organizations can use your donation now to prepare how they will be able to give to others at Christmas!

The beauty of 5 months til Christmas is... we have plenty of time still to relax and just enjoy the idea that Christmas is coming soon!

Here are those Ornaments I promised to share...

  5. I think I have most of those Christmas DVDs, but not all. If there's some good prices right now, I think I'll have to get a few more you mentioned and a couple I've been meaning to get for awhile.
