Click on the Movie Titles Below for More Details!!!
Hope you enjoyed this Preview of New Movies to come in 2016 -
on the Hallmark Channel during Winterfest!
Which new movie looks the most intriguing to you?
Brilliant, Hallmark, simply brilliant!! What better way to ease us down from a record number of new Christmas movies than give us four winter themed new films that look fabulous. I hope to catch all of them!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely agree, Linda... It's brilliant! Hallmark has us all hooked!!! I love this addition of Winterfest!!! Glad you love it, too!!!
DeleteThe last two are the ones I'm looking most forward to this January.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking the same,Susan... But, so far, I really liked Luke Perry's movie! Looking forward now to the next one, too... Sometimes we like the unexpected!!!
DeleteLooking forward to the movies! I saw that Luke Perry Produced his movie. I also see that some were books, so it will be a great way to check some authors out as well!
ReplyDeleteYes, I saw that "Unleashing Mr Darcy" was a book first! I hope it lives up to everyone's Great Expectation! Ha! Ha! Get my pun? Couldn't resist! It's always fun to see a book become a movie and this one looks like a cute one! Plus, I love just about anything Jane Austen related!!!
DeleteNet, did you ever reveal the new Christmas movie news you said you would reveal on the Monday after Christmas???
ReplyDeleteSorry for the delay... I changed it to the Monday after New Years! The early 2016 Christmas Movie post is up now!
DeleteAm I the only one who noticed that the original Winterfest schedule had a 5th movie on it, slated to debut on Saturday, January 30th, which is now NOT part of Winterfest? That movie WAS called "The Guide," starring Meghan Markle. The title has been changed to "Love Lessons." It is still scheduled for January 30th, so I am inclined to think that Hallmark decided to make it the first NEW movie in the Countdown to Valentine's Day, and that the Countdown will begin on January 30th instead of the 31st.
ReplyDeleteSo now the SECOND new movie in the Countdown to Valentine's Day should be "All Things Valentine," which is scheduled for Sunday, January 31st.
Otherwise... I don't know if this is one of the movies that will end up in the Valentine's Day line-up or elsewhere, but Marcus Rosner (who played Candace Cameron Bure's fiancé in "A Christmas Detour") was recently shooting a movie for Hallmark that appeared to be called "Food for the Heart" at that point (it could always change).
And Hallmark favorite Autumn Reeser was recently filming a Hallmark movie in Canada, which appeared to involve a barn and ranch! Where will it end up? The Countdown to Valentine's Day? June Weddings? Christmas in July? Fall Harvest? Or some other random time?
Thank you Sherry for these insightful finds for 2016! I haven't posted individual postings for the Valentine's movies, yet... But I do have the titles listed on the "Made for TV Movies 2016" Page.
DeleteFunny that you mentioned the movie "Love Lessons" was titled "The Guide"... It was also previously titled "The Dater's Handbook". So interesting! Guess they often change movie titles around... Candace Cameron Bure's Christmas movie also had two different titles before they finally picked "A Christmas Detour".
I'm also excited to hear Marcus Rosner, Charles from When Calls the Heart, will be in a Countdown to Valentines movie- I believe he has has hinted that he will be the one to get the girl this this time!!!
Happy New Year, Sherry!!!
Net!!!! The Countdown to Valentine's Day schedule -- and the titles and premiere dates of all 5 new movies -- is up!!! Here -- http://www.hallmarkchannel.com/valentines-day/countdown-to-valentines-day-schedule.
DeleteIt appears that Taylor Cole is in "Food for the Heart" with Marcus Rosner. I assume she is the leading lady. Now the question is.. who is in the new movies "Valentine Ever After" and "Anything For Love"?
DeleteThank you for all the info, Sherry. I was just updating the Hallmark Valentine's Day movies when I saw your comment.
DeleteI also added a poster for the UP movie Love Finds You in Valentine on my site, here:
http://itsawonderfulmovie.blogspot.com/2015/06/up-movie-love-finds-you-in-valentine.html. This movie will premiere on UP, Feb. 14 - Valentine's Day!
Guess it's still a mystery who is in the last two Hallmark V-day movies. I'm going to guess the last one will star one or more of the Hallmark regular stars just like "All of my Heart" starred Lacey Chabert and Brennan Elliott.
Net -- I saw the Valentine's stuff late last night (Tuesday)/early this morning and posted here almost right away to let you know!!
DeleteYes, that's what I was thinking too. One of those last 2 movies (after the one with Marcus Rosner and Taylor Cole) will probably feature a regular from the Hallmark Family. Maybe it hasn't even been filmed yet! Lol. (Or... maybe one of these movies will end up being the mysterious project that Alicia Witt was working on in Vancouver late last year.) Remember how "Christmas Land's" cast was not posted on the Hallmark website until early November, even though the movie was premiering on December 20th! I think that the movie was still being filmed at that time.
