To Diane, I am so glad you love the blog and updates, as well. To answer your question... the Movies listed on the side are generally family movies that have been on TV or we hope will be on TV in the future. There are no certain dates, yet, but if or when they do have a premeire date, you will definitely see it listed here! All of those movies, however, are available on DVD, if you don't wish to wait.

Again, thank you for all your kind words and I hope you enjoy your next Family Movie Night!

What little I saw, it looks very good. And, I love your blog!!! Even your background makes this blog very cheery. Also, do you know when the other half of the Love Comes Softly movies will show? The last two times the first 5 were shown. I recorded them, so now I need the r est to add to my library. My two close Church friends hadn't seen all of these gre at films, so they now have be cause the one recorded them for me.

  33. your show on "Middle" Im sorry I cant see the woman actress acting in this stupid show. She is just a wonderful actress - she was great in the Christmas movie with Peter Falk. Also great in Everybody Loves Raymond - wish you would show that on Hallmark. Bet you would have a lot of people watching. I do not watch when "Middle" comes on

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I guess they play various shows for different people. I think some of The Middle episodes are pretty funny, while others are somewhat 'over the top' silly. I agree with you - Patricia Heaton is a wonderful actress, whether it is a comedy, like "Everybody Loves Raymond" or dramatic, as in the Christmas Movie you referred to: "A Town Without Christmas".

  44. Will the episodes of the new When Calls the Heart be aired again soon. I have missed about 3 of them!

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Unfortunately, When Calls the Heart is one of those shows on the Hallmark Channel that never seems to have many, if any, encore airings. I'm not sure why, but as far as the 1 hour drama original series go, each episode seems to get only one or maybe two show showings. In the beginning there were two airings for each of the season 3 episodes, but now it looks like they've reduced it to only one, the premiere showing on Sunday night. Fortunately there are DVDs available and I have them listed here: http://itsawonderfulmovie.blogspot.com/2016/01/when-calls-the-heart-season-3-hallmark-channel-lori-loughlin.html. Hope that helps!

      Delete
  45. Net, you hit the nail on the prevernial head. It's about money. If you don't catch it those times, they want you to buy the DVD. It's a shame, but the truth of TV for the most part. :(

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. It seems that one has to buy a DVD for each episode not a DVD for the whole season. I believe the price is about 10 dollars or so for each episode. If that is correct that is highway robbery!!

    2. I watched Candace's explanation of why she left The View was because of her commitments to Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies and Mysteries (and of course spending more time with family, among other things.)

      Delete
    3. I happened to catch that live when Candace announced she would be leaving. I think that was a good decision for her - to leave to devote more time for her family, and Hallmark movies here and there. Plus, it was quite a commute for her to make to New York all the time.

Thank you, again, Jill, for the Candace update! This reminds me - I still need to go check out her Instagram! Hope all the regular cast returns for the next two Aurora movies!!! :)

    1. Unfortunately, DISH and DirecTV customers, etc... are still waiting to get Hallmark Drama. Let's hope it is added soon!

Hallmark keeps asking their viewers to request it from their cable providers... so, I guess we need to keep doing that, even if the representatives on the phone typically have no idea what we're talking about.

    3. Yeah, I was bummed, too, tvh... to see they didn't squeeze the Peanut's Easter episode into the schedule again this year. Instead, they are playing the animated cartoon Over the Hedge this Saturday night. Plus, thankfully, ABC is continuing their usual annual tradition, playing The Ten Commandments the night before Easter.

I did discover a Peanuts Easter episode you might be interested in! If you have the Boomerang Channel, they are playing an Easter theme episode the week before Easter!

      Here are the details:

      Peanuts - Not My Day

Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at 5:50 PM (EST.)

Episode description: Lucy sets a record of being disagreeable for 100 days; Lucy wonders if she is a disagreeable person; Snoopy uses Lucy's straw to take some of her drink; Lucy misses her chance to retrieve eggs left by the Easter Beagle; Linus helps Lucy feel happier.

"The Peanuts Gang" is on the Boomerang Channel every weekday, 5-6pm!

    5. Yes, thankfully It's the Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown is still available on DVD, especially since it's not shown on TV any longer.

Christmas is ultimately my favorite, when it comes to the Charlie Brown cartoons, but the Easter special is very sweet, as well, and holds very sentimental, precious memories!

    1. Yes, Danica McKellar and Andrew Walker are filming a new Hallmark movie together called "Love in Design!"

This movie project was first revealed at Hallmark's 2018 Winter TCA event. At that time, the movie was initially called "Flip Flop."

I think these two will be extra cute together! Andrew sure has been one busy guy with Hallmark movies this year... "My Secret Valentine," "Wedding March 4: Something Old, Something New," "Love in Design," and potentially one would expect a new Hallmark (or even Lifetime) Christmas movie, too!

    5. Oh YES... isn't that funny? You were 100% spot on, Joyce!!! :)

I'm rather glad, though, in this case they changed the movie title. Flip flop does make one think of summer shoes, and in this movie, of course, they are flipping a house... so, I think "Love in Design" sounds so much better! :)

Whatever the story... I'm sure Andrew & Danica will always be great fun for us to watch!!!

It has aired in Canada, this June in fact, on their Super Channel Heart & Home, which often plays Hallmark movies. Cindy has also shared (on Twitter) that the movie will be coming to the U.S., as well! We are still awaiting word on when & where!

When I first saw it was a Monday premiere, I was also uncertain if it was right; however, that day is also Memorial Day - so I wouldn't be surprised if Hallmark had a movie marathon that day - leading up to the new premiere.

Also, this film, "From Friend to Fiancé" is not included in Hallmark's "Countdown to Summer" movies - so I'm thinking it might be an early introduction to "June Weddings!"

  85. Net --

Are you seeing that the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Channel schedule is suddenly lacking in Christmas movies on Thursdays? I just checked the schedules for May 2nd, May 9th, May 16th and May 23rd, and there are no Christmas movies. None of the originally scheduled titles for those dates have showtimes anymore (as of Sunday afternoon, 4/28/19).

It's possible that Hallmark changed some things and has not yet updated the website to reflect the changes, but I wonder if they were seeing too many complaints or a lack of interest in the Thursday night movies, and decided to remove them.

At least we have Gold Crown Christmas on HMM to look forward to!

    1. Thank you for alerting me to the removal of Christmas movies from Hallmark Movies & Mysteries on Thursday nights. I am quite surprised to hear of this news, as I thought they were doing well at the time, and enjoyed by many viewers. Perhaps, like you suggested, the ratings were not high enough for them to keep airing them.

So, for now, it's back to Monk and Psych throughout the day and evening, and movies return throughout the day - Saturday and Sunday.

Yes, that's right... at least we do have Gold Crown Christmas on HMM coming up in July! Perhaps, that's another reason... they wanted to be sure viewers would be longing to see the Holiday movies when Christmas in July comes along!

      Thank you, again! Blessings, Net

  89. I have been disenchanted with Hallmark for the past year and had thought that I couldn't be disappointed in them anymore, but I was wrong. Don't get me wrong, I still watch the movies, but I've learned that they are truly all about the money and frequently lie in order to accomplish their agenda. It used to bug me to no end. Now I just chalk it up to a business prerogative and just the way of the world. But I have to say, I'm still disappointed that Hallmark has regaled on their new movie every Saturday gig. while preview shows are technically new they are not a new movie. Really, does everything Hallmark does have to be cryptic and "just enough truth" to be "technically" honest while completely missing the spirit of the law? I'm sorry to complain....but is anyone else frustrated, more often than not, with the way Hallmark chooses to do things now? Where has the Hallmark of my childhood gone? Where has the reputation and solidity gone? I miss the time when the Hallmark name meant something. Maybe that's just wistful thinking? As Kathleen says on "You've Got Mail," 'I don't really want an answer. I just want to send this cosmic question out into the void. So good night, dear void.'

Won't that be fun! I was surprised to see that, but it's nice to see movies like: Love Begins, Love's Everlasting Courage, Fixing Pete, Keeping Up with the Randalls, Thicker than Water, etc... Wonder what this means for Hallmark Drama, as I recall seeing these titles there before Christmas.

    2. Hi Net, I did some research the movies airing on UPtv are produced by Larry Levinson. He has produced a LOT of Hallmark movies, maybe it has something to do with the production company, and those movies are not outright owned and produced by Hallmark, so because of that another channel, like UPtv can get the rights to air his produced movies too. Just a thought.

  93. Very interesting development from Hallmark.

I know that while they make most of their own movies they do buy completed ones from form other sources although these then premier on the Hallmark Channel.

The film Bad Date Chronicles airing on 29 February (starring our own Merritt Patterson) is not a new movie but was shown on another channel a couple of years ago.

The title was so unusual I recognised it and on checking up I discovered this was the case.

Is this the first time this has happened on Hallmark?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Yes, it was quite surprising to see that one of the upcoming Saturday premieres in February on the Hallmark Channel will be a PixL movie.

It's not the first time they have aired PixL movies on the network, but I believe it may be the first time they've aired one in the Prime Time slot as a premiere.

They are not counting this movie towards the "Countdown to Valentine's Day" or the new "Love Ever After" movies in February, though. And since it's over a month away, it is possible they could simply change it to something else. We'll see.

Someone has posted these full movies at You Tube

High Flying Romance starring Jessica Lowndes and Christopher Russell

Love In Whitbrooke starring Brittany Bristow and Corey Sevier
(they've actually mistakenly titled it You Had Me At Aloha which is the upcoming Hallmark movie with Pascale Hutton)

Neither of these two movies appear to be available anywhere else.

There's also a trailer at IMDB for Colors Of Love with Jessica Lowndes and Chad Michael Murray and Dennis Andres also in the cast - this appears to have been shown in the US in February although it hasn't been on any of our usual channels.

Chad has had his hair cut and is looking very handsome!

Do you know anything of this movie, Net? - it's one I'd be very sorry not to be able to see. - Florence

    1. Florence, Thank you for sharing this movie info. I have seen that trailer for "Colors of Love" - I agree it looks good, like a Fall Harvest Hallmark movie!

From what I've seen, "Colors of Love" premiered in February at Megaplex Theatres. I haven't heard if it's been on TV, yet. Have you heard something there? It's definitely one of those movies I'm keeping my eye out for.

Agree - CMM looks quite handsome with the short hair cut, but I also liked him with the highlights, too. He's cute either way to me.

As for YouTube - thank you for sharing those tips. It's interesting how some people label a movie with one title, but it's actually something else. Unfortunately, some people don't have the rights to share these moves, that's why they label them another title to cover it up.

Have you had a chance to watch either movie? Just curious if they are family-friendly, if so.

    2. I haven't seen these movies yet - I'm hoping maybe forlornly that they'll come to television, find it very hard to watch them on our laptop.

More information on Colors Of Love.

Sadly (and surprisingly) it looks as if we may miss out on this one.

Last October it was given out that Jessica Lowndes and Chad Michael Murray were in Canada filming a movie for Hallmark called Tycoon's Kiss.

It looks like someone assigned it mistakenly to Hallmark and also the title was changed to Colors Of Love

It's now available on Amazon Streaming so it doesn't look likely it will be shown on TV.

Very disappointing because of the two well-known leads and I have really enjoyed Dennis Andres in his two recent UPtv movies. - Florence

    3. Florence, thanks for the info, I tried to find Colors of Love on Amazon. Couldn’t locate it. Do they use Colors of Love or Tycoons kiss?

  106. It's under Colors Of Love but when I check it's not on Amazon.com only on Amazon.co.uk.

Something strange with this movie - Florence

    1. That is interesting, Florence. Maybe Hallmark or someone else did get the rights to air it, after all. Based on the scenery, it would make an ideal Fall Harvest film. Guess we'll see.

  107. I see there is a new film 27 Hour Day starring Autumn Reeser and Andrew Walker due for release on 05 August.

Normally this would have been a lock-in for Hallmark but the fact that there's a release date quoted makes me wonder if this is yet another film which is going elsewhere maybe even to streaming - Florence

  108. I've watched High Flying Romance aka Kite Festival Of Love and Love In Whitbrooke but it was offputting having to watch them on our laptop - will Review in due course but I can report both are very family friendly.

Jen Lilley and Ryan Paevey are filming a movie with the working title Love In The Afternoon - it's stated to be for Hallmark but a number of times recently pending movies have been credited to Hallmark which didn't turn out to be the case so I wouldn't take as certain until Hallmark itself would confirm it - Florence.

  109. There are a fair number of new Christmas films listed at Reel One Entertainment many of which I suspect will end up on Lifetime this year - most of the leading actors are little known names.

Also there are a lot of new movies by familiar names still out there - for example Marcus Rosner, Corey Sevier, Jesse Hutch, Jon Cor even a Steve Lund one.

It's beginning to look like we may never get to see them. - Florence
