I am absolutely thrilled to officially share with you all today that "When Hope Calls" is returning for Season 3 in 2026! This beloved series, filled with faith, heartfelt stories, love, and the beauty of community, will continue to inspire viewers.
This new season will debut under a slightly updated title, "When Hope Calls: Brookfield." You'll want to be sure to keep an eye out for that name in your TV guide or streaming options.
Filming is scheduled (weather permitting) from October 1st through November 20th, and we’re in for a real treat with so many familiar faces returning, including Cindy Busby, Christopher Russell, Sarah Fisher, Nick Bateman, Wendy Crewson, Hanneke Talbot, and Jon McLaren!
Plus, Trevor Donovan, who appeared in two episodes last season, will be reprising his role in Season 3. And joining the cast for the first time is actor Simon Arblaster. It should be interesting to see what character he will portray. Any guesses?

Beloved by audiences for its quality, heartwarming storytelling, and timeless themes, the series continues to resonate with viewers seeking family-friendly entertainment. Additionally, “When Hope Calls” received a coveted nomination for TELEVISION SERIES OF THE YEAR at the upcoming 56th Annual Dove Awards, a category it shares with “The Chosen” and “House of David.”

Fans of the Janette Oke-inspired series step into the heartwarming town of Brookfield, where family, friendship, and faith shine bright. “When Hope Calls” is executive produced by Brad Krevoy, Don McDonald, Alfonso H. Moreno, David Anselmo, All Canadian Entertainment and Hideaway Pictures. Don McCutcheon, Melanie Orr and Jerry Ciccoritti will direct the episodes written by Alfonso H. Moreno, Sara Snow and Kirsten Hansen. In Canada, “When Hope Calls” will air on Super Channel.

As I mentioned above, I am truly thrilled to finally officially share this news. My family and I so enjoy this series, and I can't wait to see what happens after that season 2 cliffhanger.
Unfortunately, there wasn't any mention of Jesse Hutch in the press release, but I’m holding out hope that he’ll also be part of the new season. I’d also love to see Neil Crone, Jefferson Brown, and many of the wonderful children return, along with all of the familiar faces that make Brookfield feel like home.
“When Hope Calls: Brookfield” truly is such a warm and welcoming show, and I’m so thankful we’ll have more heartfelt stories to enjoy together in 2026!
