As we mark 7 months 'til Christmas on May 25th with Memorial Day coming up this weekend, I thought it would be a nice time to pay tribute to the many Christmas-themed patriotic movies that have aired on Hallmark throughout the years.
So, for this Christmas Movie Challenge on the 25th-

My personal Christmas movie pick to mark the 25th is "USS Christmas," starring Jen Lilley and Trevor Donovan! Abigail (a dear friend and follower here) mentioned she might watch this movie last month, and since she shared that, I've been wanting to rewatch it again myself. Since this film has such a strong military theme, I think this will a great time to finally rewatch this patriotic Christmas movie just before Memorial Day. Plus, it doesn't hurt that it has two of my favorite stars!

As a veteran myself (USAF) who currently works for the Army, I couldn't pass up this challenge since I absolutely love Christmas movies (even if they upset me with certain uniform mistakes, etc.) that are about the military in some way. Marc Blucas is my favorite actor to play a military character in these types of movies.

I think this list is right, but my memory isn't as good as it used to be. Number 7 has me stumped but I know it's the brother of a lead character and since some of the movies with brothers in them were already up there, this was the one I thought of.

Nice idea to honor our military. I think I’ve seen most of these movies a dozen times or so, but still, it’s hard to remember some of their titles.
