Besides UPtv's New *June Grooms* movies, Our Dream Wedding, The Engagement Backup, A Romance Wedding, and Planning on Forever (which you can see in further detail - here), you can also see new episodes of TV series on UPtv - throughout the month of June.
Tonight, UPtv will have the third episode of Heartland, Season 15, titled: Bad Moon Rising. I have pre-screened this episode, and I can tell you it is family-friendly and quite intriguing. A number of thefts have been occuring in the area; Lisa ropes solid and steady Jack (who is used to defending his family on his own) into installing a modern security system and young, intelligent Parker (who is cute, but can sometimes be a know-it-all) volunteers to help. People in town, of course, claim the thief is one of the troubled youths Amy is helping through Cooper's therapy center, Higher Ground, and they want Lou, as the mayor, to shut the program down. This episode is so engrossing, you'll easily be drawn in to the story and want more (trust me!) when the credits roll.
Heartland's new episode airs tonight (Thursday, June 2, 2022) at 8pm/7c. on UPtv!
Also, premiering tonight on UPtv is Mystic. I haven't had the opportunity to screen this series, yet, but it also has a storyline that revolves around a young girl, troubled teens and horses. Mystic will air immediately following Heartland at 9pm/8c. on UPtv.
If you've missed the first 2 episodes of Heartland, then you can easily catch up tonight. UPtv is re-airing episode 1 at 10pm/9c. and episode 2 at 11pm/10c. I did want to mention there is one very brief mention of a man's partner during the second episode. Other than that, both episodes are warm, engaging, and family friendly.
UPtv is also premiering The Wedding Planners in June - Friday nights at 8pm/7c, beginning this Friday, June 3rd. This series is about two sisters and a brother who take over their mother's wedding planning business after her passing. Please know, I have not pre-screened this series.
Hope you discover something you will enjoy!
Blessings on your day, Net
I loved all of season 15 of Heartland! Yes, there are a couple mentions here and there of Lou's assistant's partner, but not enough to warrant not watching the show. And I just saw that season 16 will be coming to Canadian TV this fall with 15 episodes. I would imagine UP Faith and Family would start showing it next spring. Can't wait, especially since the last few seasons have only had 10 episodes.
ReplyDeleteJennifer R, Thank you so much for giving us that info on Season 15 and Season 16! I've really been enjoying these first episodes of this season, and I'm happy to hear more is coming - with Season 16 and 15 episodes! That is awesome news!!! :)
DeletePlus, I really appreciate your review of Season 15... I truly value your opinion.
I'll check out Mystic and The Wedding Planners. -Maria
ReplyDeleteThanks Net for your review of Heartland and mentioning they are reairing all the episodes again tonight cuz I missed them when they first aired. I'm going to go and set my DVR right now.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great picture! Amy and her daughter are so sweet together.
ReplyDeleteMystic is pretty good. And also clean. -Maria
ReplyDelete1st episode of The Wedding Planners was pretty good. and also clean. -Maria
ReplyDeleteMaria, Nice to hear your review for The Wedding Planners and Mystic. Thank you! :)
DeleteFor anyone who watches Mystic, Episode 4 reveals that Caleb is gay. -Maria
ReplyDeleteMaria, I am so disappointed to hear that, mainly because I never anticipated that from one the producers involved, who is also connected with When Calls the Heart.
DeleteI was coming here to see if that had been shared. I had questions about the show even before that but when they brought that in, especially the way it was handled, I stopped watching and stopped recordings. While Heartland has hinted at the topic, I felt the way it was addressed in Mystic was trying too hard to make a statement about it. Made me sad to see.
