    1. Mark 25 - I know what you mean - time is flying by! My goodness, it's already almost mid-May and I feel like the month just began. I was really amazed to see they already had the Christmas movies listed for the end of June, and I just couldn't wait to share them with all of you!

Guess we already know how we'll *Mark the 25th* of June! :)

    1. Joyce, Happy to hear your excitement over Christmas in July! I'm so happy, at least, they haven't changed that.

I forgot to add a caution that the schedule could possibly change, but I think all the regulars here are quite aware of that, by now.

Hugs to you - Have a Blessed Day!!!

    1. Chris, No word on Christmas in July on the Hallmark Channel - just yet. They often start on one network, for a week or so, then switch off to the other Hallmark channel. I'm assuming they are doing that this year, too, but there is no confirmation, yet. I sure hope so!

    2. kitkat, I'm also so sorry to hear how difficult it has been for you and your family lately. If you ever need to talk, you can also email me privately, if you'd like. (itsawonderfulchristmas at yahoo dot com)

Please know - I am praying for you! How I wish I could give you a big hug! I am - virtually and spiritually - through Jesus!

So glad this Christmas movie news has brought you joy. There's nothing quite like the love of Christmas to uplift and encourage one's spirit. I thought of you, specifically, when I included The Angel Tree, remembering how much you enjoyed it.

God bless you, honey! Take care!

    3. To Mark, Net, and Jim, thank you for your kind words. It means everything to me to have caring friends on this site. We have lost so many family members within the past few months; many unexpectedly. Some were young and some older, but none were from Covid. It was so often I became afraid to answer the phone. Two were young men within the same family; my nephews. We might not understand why but we know who does; the Lord Jesus Christ. Thanks for letting me share Net!

    5. Thanks Net! Appreciate that. Net, did you notice the absence of alcoholic drinks in The Angel Tree? Everything about this movie nourishes my soul. Sweet of you to remember!

    1. Matt, I agree - we could all use the joy of Christmas once again! How I wish life could just go back to normal before 2020.

I'm glad this news brightened your day! :)

  7. Well thank goodness Hallmark didn't completely go off the rails by cancelling Christmas after the When Calls The Heart disaster finale. The sitcoms all day long better end soon or their viewership is really going to tank.

    1. I completely understand your discontentment with Hallmark these days. I know a lot of Hearties are not pleased. Trust me, I totally understand. Plus, with all the schedule changes and uncertainty with the movies these days, I agree with you - thank goodness they didn't turn into the Grinch and steal Christmas in July, too! I'm hoping when Christmas in July ends on the Hallmark Channel - that will end the daily airing of sitcoms.

I know some people have contacted Hallmark about that and they just received a form email back saying something to the effect of - their comment will be passed along to the programming department, blah, blah, blah...

Anyway, thank goodness, like you said, we still have Christmas!!! :)

    2. I pretty much only watch the Hallmark Mystery Channel. Those shows dont bother me as much, Little House on the prairie is on when i leave and monk on saturday AM's. i was pleasantly surprised by the POstables on when i got home last night. I dislike very much the Hallmark Channel as of late.

I still dont understand why with so many movies we get repeats on Christmas Thursdays and Fridays. I do also wish these Mystery movies could have some other kind of mystery other than murder. If regular HM plays Christmas then i will watch but not until. I really haven't watched many if any of the new movies this year. I haven't deleted Chasing Waterfalls yet cause i want to watch, but i didn't even record the ice hotel movie this weekend.

I will say Sweet Carolina looks good, and then the Aloha movie with PH and KS looks really good. Hopefully i will watch them, but not sure.

    3. Sabrina, I've been watching more HMM these days, too. I've always been intrigued by mystery. And since the Hallmark Channel plays nothing but sitcoms all day, that leaves little choice. I've also caught LHOTP on HMM and UPtv, too.

"Chasing Waterfalls" was good. I laughed out loud at one point and the chemistry was excellent once again between Cindy Busby and Christopher Russell. It was kind of predictable, but sweet.

I haven't watched "Baby, It's Cold Inside," yet, but I have it recorded. The reviews I've heard, so far, say it wasn't great, but it's hard to sell an ice-themed movie in May. That really wasn't fair of them to air it now.

I've watched all of the rom-coms that have premiered on BYU, so far, and I've enjoyed all of them. I wish they would do more encore showings. Hopefully this is just a start for them!

Net and Sabrina, I watch more HMM too. Can't stand the all day sitcoms. Most can be seen on other channels anyway. I haven't seen very many of the new movies this year so far. And I so agree with the fact both channels repeat the most recent Christmas movies over and over. They have so many to choose from they could easily air a different Christmas movie on both channels every week all year long. Makes no sense!

    5. I finally was able to record one of the BYU the Gouda movie so i look forward to watching it. I have watched many of the Up movies this year. still have a few to get to. there are a lot of movies filmed already that i have researched and i am hoping they are for Up, they sound really good. Good actors in them too.

Hallmark has like 3 shows they play right now, so if you dont want to watch Golden Girls all day, you are screwed. I think they may have Frazier on in the middle of the night, but I am so over Golden Girls. And they took off Lucy, i watched some episodes of Reba many years ago, so you get Reba and Golden Girls.

On HMM, I like Murder She Wrote, i am usually tired and falling asleep by then, but on weekends i stay up and catch some.

  8. I blog and as a practicing Catholic share your views on family friendly BUT I so love Christmas by Starlight and I wanted to thank you for still posting airtime’s !! 🙏❤️

    1. Thank you for sharing that you also support Family Friendly movies. Please know, I do love to share Christmas movies, however, I won't be giving airtimes for movies that go against my Christian beliefs, like Christmas by Starlight. You can easily look it up on the Hallmark Channel web-site, if you like.

  9. Jim, It's a good thing your Christmas tree is up and ready to go - cuz it's only about a month and a half away - give or take a few days there. I, too, hope Christmas movies air nearly all July, if not the whole month. One can dream, right?

Plus, I'm loving that the current schedule is showing that they will be airing the Christmas movies night and day - hope they don't change that.

What a beautiful message you shared with kitkat. That is so true - we could all use the love and comfort of Christmas right now.

Thank you, Jim, for shining His light - for all to see!

  10. I love that tradition you have, Jim. You still have plenty of time to make it through. It's always so hard for our family to decide which movies to leave until last. This year we chose "Christmas Waltz" and "A Little Christmas Charm" and we loved them both - so they were good choices. I'm looking forward to re-watching many of the new ones again!

  11. I have watched a few more from 2020, Project Christmas Wish i have watched a few times already. I was very pleasantly surprised with Charming little Christmas town from lifetime. I just adore Natalie Hall. I saw a lot didnt like it, but i like the movies where someone goes somewhere and doesn't expect to like it and does. I didn't think she was too mean. Many times we have ideas of what we think and come out suprised and wish we hadn't thought so badly of it, i think she felt that way about the entire place.

Someday i will get to watch Charm, i always pass it with something else. i kept Cross Country Christmas too. and USS, i just usually cant sit for 2 hours to pay attention.

  12. Jim, you are not the only one who has a Christmas tree up. Mine is still up with lights on. I did remove all the ornaments except for the Two Turtledoves. Since I use all white lights, it looks nice at any time. Those lights bring me peace.

    1. Yes, RG! It's coming very very soon! Last year was the 10th anniversary and I thought about ending it there, but because I've been asked so many times to bring it back this year - I am! Staying tuned... it may be right around the corner - hint! hint! :)

  14. Jim, I will share with you and others here something that happened a few years back. I love live trees but due to my daughter's allergies, an artificial tree was necessary, so I put a live tree on our back porch. I left it up after Christmas because it was still green. My youngest daughter was scheduled for a surgery that would take 12 hours or more. There would be several incisions on the outside of her body so I was heavily burdened at the time. There had been so many days of prayer for her, and I was sitting in our breakfast area in the kitchen, looking out the glass doors at the tree on the porch; praying all the while. Suddenly, the tree lights came on without anyone turning them on. It was broad daylight at the time. These words were spoken to my heart, "I am the Light of the world". Peace and assurance filled my heart and the burden lifted. My daughter came through in flying colors. She is healthy today. I left that tree decorated and lights burning around the clock until she came home from the hospital.

  15. kitkat, that is such a beautiful story! I can just imagine what peace that must've given you in that moment! What a precious memory - and wonderful outcome! Praise God! :)
