★ Welcome 2021! ★ Take a Shot at Hallmark's first *New Year New Movies* premiere + Mystery Movies are back! 🔎 DETAILS HERE:

The NEW movies that premiere on the Hallmark Channel in January used to be called Winterfest; however, that title has now melted away and has been replaced with the new catchy slogan - "New Year New Movies!" What do you think? Do you like it? I think it's okay, fun and enthusiastic, but I'm such a traditionalist, I kinda miss Winterfest too.

5 NEW Movies will premiere in January, 2021 under the banner - "New Year New Movies," beginning with...

Have a wonderful first weekend in the new year!

  2. Thank you for posting about this showing of "When Hope Calls!" Somehow you are a much greater source of information than either the Hallmark website or Directv. Much appreciated!

    1. Chris, Thankfully we have a large variety - since we all enjoy different things.

I love both the rom-coms & mysteries, if they aren't too creepy. Frankly, I would enjoy the mysteries more if they weren't all murder related. A stolen art piece (or something like that) could be just as intriguing.

I just recently watched "The Christmas Ring" and loved it! The story was a bit of mystery/puzzle and trying to figure out how all the pieces fit together was quite interesting!

    3. Chris, I happen to love both of those movies! And by the way, "The Irresistible Blueberry Farm" will air this upcoming Monday, January 11th on the Hallmark Channel at 4pm!

  5. I have to say I enjoyed having the mysteries back. Watched Aroura yesterday and was pleasantly surprised they played them til 6 am. I am looking forward to some of the winter movies, although I don't know if they are going to have same sex couples showing up left and right. Maybe if anyone watched taking a shot at love you can let us know.

Anyone see "Taking a Shot at Love?" Was it family friendly?
