Happy First Weekend of Fall, Everyone!
It's really beginning to feel more and more like autumn here in the Midwest. The leaves are still mostly green on our trees, but I'm spotting a few golden ones here and there. However, the fields around our family farm are ready and the combine started up yesterday - it's officially Fall Harvest!
Hope you all enjoy the new movies. I'm really looking forward to "JL Family Ranch: The Wedding Gift." The first movie was filled with mystery and intrigue; I'm hoping the second one will resolve previous disputes.
*Please Note: I have not pre-screened these new movies, but based on the previews we've been given, thus far, I am anticipating they will be family-friendly.
Have a nice weekend...
Blessings, Net

and my shield;
I hope in Your word.”

Thanks, Net! I will be busy trying to clean out stuff this weekend. However, I hope to enjoy at least one of the movies. The Hallmark one sounds pretty good, but the lead actor is not attractive to me at all!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend,
Misty
Wonderful options for the weekend viewing!

Falling for Look Lodge was certainly better than last week's movie. At least it felt like fall with colorful leaves and tree that had some color.
ReplyDeleteKeith, Glad you enjoyed the latest "Fall Harvest" movie. It's always extra nice when the themed movies give just the right feel for the appropriate season. Colorful leaves definitely mean... It's Fall!
DeleteThe Color of Rain was fantastic. I wish Hallmark would do more of these movies. They've become so predicable with the plot and structure of their movies, that something like this is a welcome relief.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you enjoyed this heartwarming movie, too. I would also love to see Hallmark do more drama type movies like this.
DeleteFalling for Look Lodge was one of the better movies I have seen from Hallmark as of lately. I really enjoyed it. I loved Color of Rain, I have seen it about 4 times now and still love watching it. It is a beautiful story. Its hard to believe Christmas movies start in like 3 weeks!
ReplyDeleteI watched Color Of Rain myself and enjoy it each and every time. This was the first time I noticed it was a true story. It is much like my sister's life! Could have been written about her except it was her little girl who did not want her to marry again.
DeleteAlicia,
DeleteSo glad you enjoyed watching "The Color of Rain" again. It never fails to touch the heart, does it? I also love that it has a little bit of Christmas in the end of the story.
Thank you for sharing the joy and anticipation of Christmas... it is certainly coming quickly! :)
kitkat, How precious that this story is so much like your Sister's real life. It is so nice that she was able to find love again after her great loss.
DeleteI haven't been watching Hallmark in quite some time. I did watch Falling for Look Lodge and I agree that it was pretty good! I just wish there was a different lead for me to swoon over.

Net, sorry to post so many times, but I noticed the 3 pack of Christmas At Dollywood, Time For You To Come Home For Christmas, And Picture A Perfect Christmas has disappeared from your site. Does this mean they are getting ready to release it?
ReplyDeletekitkat, I sure wish I knew when this DVD is going to be available. I felt bad having it listed on the side of my web-site - when it keeps saying it's unavailable. That's why I took it off, but I still have it listed in my DVD list, and I certainly hope it's available soon! :)
DeleteDanica McKellar & Neal Bledsoe were already worked Hallmark Christmas together
ReplyDelete“Coming Home for Christmas”, is based on the book by Jenny Hale
