UPDATE: Hallmark Channel's June Weddings Schedule changes!

image: Becca Tobin from Love at First Dance, via: Hallmark Crown Media

The last movie for June Weddings, premiering on June 29th, has been changed to "Sister of the Bride," starring Becca Tobin and Ryan Rottman. Here's the storyline via Hallmark: "After only 6 months of dating, Stephanie and Ben get engaged and are delighted to share the news. However, they hit a road bump when Stephanie's parents show concern that the couple has moved too fast."

For those of you, who were looking forward to "In the Key of Love," starring Laura Osnes, Scott Michael Foster, and Andrea Brooks, which was previously scheduled to air on that date, it has been moved "currently" on Hallmark Channel's schedule to a Monday night premiere, on July 1st. (Please be sure to check back for any additional changes!) See the New TV Movie Schedule - *HERE* - for all the June Weddings and upcoming Hallmark Movie Premieres!

Christmas in July - Coming in June!

Christmas in July on the Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries is coming soon! In fact, Christmas movies will be arriving at the end of THIS MONTH - on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries! Be sure to check out the full schedule of BOTH - the Hallmark Channel AND Hallmark Movies & Mysteries in My Movie Guide - *HERE*!

I hope you all have a very nice, sunny, pleasant, relaxing weekend. I will be at a family get-together, so I'm probably not going to be able to watch everything, but rest assured - I'll be recording to watch later!

Sunday night just won't be the same without "When Calls the Heart." I sure am going to miss sitting down with my family and visiting Hope Valley for that hour. This was the perfect time for INSP to premiere "The Legend of the 5 Mile Cave," so we could all visit the old west for awhile this Sunday!

Have a wonderful weekend, everyone! I have lots of prepping to do for my family event, so I must run and get busy!

Blessings to you all! Net

  1. In The Key Of Love would have been the first movie I can remember where the couple getting married was interracial. It's really disappointing that this is how they've chosen to treat it.

    1. Yeah, I agree... it is rather interesting that they've moved this last June Weddings movie. I was quite surprised to see this, but thankfully, it still has an air date, and if people miss the Monday premiere (if that is where it stays), then... let's hope there will plenty of encore showings.

Personally, I love Becca Tobin in her Hallmark movies, so I'm delighted to see this movie added to June Weddings; however, I don't think it's a good idea to change premiere dates when they've already been announced, especially in the preview shows.

  2. I never heard of INSP before. When I clicked on your link to its movie, Norton Safe Web (part of my antivirus) popped up this warning:

    1. Hello TV Senior! The web-site https://5milecavemovie.com is a separate, individual, official web-site for the movie - "The Legend of 5 Mile Cave." I appreciate you sharing your concern. Thankfully, Norton described it as being safe. I also have virus protection on my computer and have never had an issue while visiting the web-site. Perhaps, Norton is just being cautious, which is always a good thing.

If you want to visit the web-site for INSP, you can visit here: https://www.insp.com/movies/the-legend-of-5-mile-cave/ and be sure and see if you can locate it under your cable provider - here.

Hope you are able to watch!

    2. Thanks. But I found another new one to watch on Lifetime about saving a family-owned business. It's not G-rated like the Hallmark movie, but it's PG, so it looks okay. (I can't find a rating for "After the Storm.") https://www.imdb.com/title/tt9288782/

    3. Okay, I found insp (The Inspiration Network) on my cable offerings and added it to my channel lineup. The reason I didn't know about it before is that it's an SD-only channel and I watch HD whenever possible.

    4. Hello TVsenior, DirecTV offers INSP in SD and HD, so it must depend on your cable provider.

Also, the UP movie "After the Storm" is rated TV-PG. There is an encore airing this Saturday at 5pm/4c. Hope that helps! :)

  3. Why did they change In the Key of Love from June 29, 2019 to July 1, 2019?

Andrea Brooks’ character is getting married!!!

Why did they change Sister of the Bride from July 6, 2019 to June 29, 2019?

Sister of the Bride is actually Becca’s character!!

    1. That is an excellent question. Things can get moved around unexpectedly. Perhaps, it has to do with commercial/ad appeal, ratings expectations, actors/actresses attached to films, etc... When no explanation is given all we can do is guess.

  6. What about the Christmas special?

Fans probably won’t have to wait until next year to return to Hope Valley, though. Every year since 2015, there’s been a When Calls the Heart Christmas special. While there’s been no announcement yet about this year’s Christmas special, the network is planning 40 all-new movies for its 2019 Countdown to Christmas, so there’s a good chance a When Calls the Heart special will be part of the lineup.

    1. Oh, I too am hoping we will get that traditional, annual WCTH Christmas Special! Ratings for season 6 were extremely high- so I cannot imagine they would exclude it from the 10th Anniversary of Countdown to Christmas lineup. That would be like leaving the frosting off the cake! Incomplete. Hopefully, we "Hearties" we'll hear something soon! :)

The Legend Of 5 Mile Cave was really good. Jill wasn't in it as much as I thought she would be but played her part very well.

Wedding March 5 was good too!
