Former prosecutor and Court TV and HLN television host and journalist, Nancy Grace, is the creator of the Hailey Dean Hallmark movie franchise. The series is based upon her best-selling Hailey Dean Mystery novels. Nancy Grace has also performed various cameo roles in the "Hailey Dean" movies!

Each of the "Hailey Dean" movie premieres will take place on Sundays - June 3rd, 10th, and 17th! Guest starring during this event is actor Chad Lowe. (fans of Kellie Martin will recall Kellie and Chad also starred together on the television drama series "Life Goes On" from 1991-1993. The entire series, which catapulted Kellie Martin's career as the spirited, likeable Becca Thatcher, ran from 1989 to 1993.)

Kellie shared this sweet on-the-set pic with her friend and actor, Chad Lowe...

Look for the first movie "Hailey Dean Mystery: 2+2 =Murder" on June 3. In this movie, "Hailey attends her niece's school recital only to learn that the beloved music teacher has vanished. Hailey soon discovers several startling secrets amongst the staff, as well as a link between the missing young teacher and the school’s reconstruction funds." What do you think of each mystery having their own month? "Garage Sale Mystery" premiered 4 new movies last August, and will do the same again this year. Do you like the set-up of one mystery with several new movies per month, or do you like the mysteries better dispersed throughout the year? Please share your thoughts on this and the "Hailey Dean" movies in comments below...

  1. I like them distributed throughout the year, but that's just me.

  2. I love the idea of each having there own month. Makes me feel like I have more to watch. Can't wait for everything new that is coming our way.

  3. It doesn't matter to me. I just hope they continue making them. Would love to see another Murder, She Baked.

  4. Having three mysteries of one series in a month is fine, but I wouldn't have chosen Hailey Dean Mystery. Instead, I would pick Signed Sealed Delivered or Aurora. Or even Murder She Baked, which I still love.

    1. Before this news, I was wondering if the 10th "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" movie might premiere in June - since it is Norman and Rita's wedding, after all, and would fit nicely with Hallmark's "June Weddings" theme, but it doesn't look like that's happening, unless they add it at the last of the month of June, on the 24th, which is possible, but probably not likely to happen.

I would love to see all the ones you mentioned have their own mystery month!

  6. I had no idea this was happening, Net. Thanks for the update. I kept wondering what was happening since Kellie Martin had shared the first movie supposed to air in March.

    1. That's right. The fourth Hailey Dean Movie - "Hailey Dean Mystery: 2+2 =Murder" was previously supposed to premiere in March. They must have decided after filming to hold onto it until June. I think this is an interesting idea for, at least, 10 months out of the year, from January to October, when Christmas is not playing.

  7. One movie per month? That's a great idea! I'll take Signed, Sealed, Delivered for the whole month of July, September or October!
