Happy Fall Harvest, Everyone!!!
Our weather is sooooo HOT this weekend in the Midwest; therefore, it doesn't quite feel like Autumn, yet, but I'm ready for the seasons to change and for a new season to come! I'm not quite looking forward to falling leaves and raking (which is quite a chore!); however, it is, I concede, lovely to watch the leaves turn into all sorts of beautiful shades of oranges and yellow! I always say... if only they could just stay attached and turn green again next year! (*sigh*)
Wherever you are... I hope your weather is pleasant, and I pray you all have a peaceful and beautiful Harvest season!!!
Enjoy the new Movies this weekend!!! I am so looking forward to seeing "Fall Harvest" begin! I have been a big fan of Julie Gonzalo since "Christmas with the Kranks" and I know we all loved her in Hallmark's "Pumpkin Pie Wars," too!
Gregory Harrison will star in not only one, but two Hallmark shows Sunday night - "Chesapeake Shores" on the Hallmark Channel and an all new "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries - at the same time! (Hope many of you can somehow see both!)
The new "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" movie has me most excited! Watching each movie feels just like coming "home again"... home to all the characters, family, romantic interests, plus, all of their fascinating, peculiar ways and special quirks - like stamp collecting, computer hacking, owls, & Yoohoos - that I love! I just can't wait to see what adventure will come next for our POstable detectives, who are on their newest mission with a divine delivery!

Have a Wonderful Weekend, Everyone!!!
Blessings to you all, Net
Yes, Net, it would be glorious to see row after row of trees with every conceivable autumn color of leaves permanently attached until they turn green again in the spring! From your lips to God's ears and millions of lower back sufferers who would truly applaud you! LOL!! PS...I'm busy, busy, busy preparing for marathon viewing this weekend...waited a long time for SSD, YAY!!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, I feel like all of us POstables have been waiting forever for this and now it's finally here! I know we are all beyond excited! A "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" marathon + new movie = best day ever!!!
DeleteAnd, as for the Autumn leaves, IF they could stay on the trees, after they changed color, wouldn't they be absolutely beautiful with a dusting of snow, come winter. Awwww, if only....
Enjoy the first new Fall Harvest movie and SSD!!! :)
Woops....made a mistake, meant winter not spring, LOL!! The colors and shapes of the leaves are beautiful and would be breathtaking brushed with white snow!! Makes me think of when I was a child walking to school and choosing a variety of leaves that we dipped in wax and I couldn't wait to bring them home to my Mom!! Great memory....thanks, Net!!
DeleteWe love SS & D!
ReplyDeleteOh, so glad to hear Susan! Enjoy the new movie Sunday night and the all day marathon proceeding the premiere!!! :)
DeleteOh I can't wait!!! It has been too long and I have been longing for a new Signed Sealed Delivered! My family lived out in the country and are farmers so I am excited to see this one! Your post was so cute with all the fall references and Postable dialog! You are so creative and it is such a delight to see your new postings! Blessings on you Net and all you do!
ReplyDeleteAwwwwe, thank you, NK, for this very sweet comment! I'm so glad to know how much you enjoyed this post! I think many of us are looking forward with much excitement -- to seeing our POstables set out into the countryside! Perhaps, that lovely image of Oliver and Shane walking in the cow pasture, side by side, making promises to one another, has something to do with it!!!
DeleteEnjoy the SSD marathon & new movie! Blessings back to you!!! Please know, I appreciated your comment very much... beyond words!!! Again, thank you!!! :)
Its finally here......Fall Harvest kickoff day! I'm so excited to watch BOTH of these movies!!! I'm a fan of both leads in Falling for Vermont and I LOVE SSD and miss it being a weekly series. It is such a wonderful and well done series of movies now and I am anxious to see this latest installment.
ReplyDeleteIts sunny here, cooler temps, and I may head up to Canada for an interview today. Its perfect Fall weather!!!
Kerry
I feel the same way, Kerry!!! I have such giddy, excited enthusiasm, too! It's fun to know this is just the first of SO MANY Seasonal / Mystery / Holiday NEW MOVIES to come!!!
DeleteEnjoy your ride & new interview! Sounds like the perfect day for a sight seeing road trip adventure!!!
I thought Falling for Vermont was the perfect kickoff for Fall Harvest! I loved it! Julie Gonzalo and Benjamin Ayres were great together. And as for SSD: Home Again, it was pure joy and delight all the way through! My parents and I enjoyed every minute of it. It might even be my favorite so far, although that's rather hard to determine, being that they're all so good! But this one was really, REALLY good! :)
ReplyDeleteAwe... So glad you enjoyed watching "Falling for Vermont." I, too, thought it was a great launch for Fall Harvest! With all the mentions of pumpkin carving, bobbing for apples, pies, etc... it just felt ideal for this time of year!!! :)
DeleteAnd, I'm so glad to hear how much you enjoyed watching the newest "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" with your parents. I thoroughly enjoyed watching it with my family, as well! It was simply wonderful!!! I so agree with you, Amy, it's too hard to pick a favorite - since they are all so good!!! They always deliver!!! :)
Oh my goodness!! Falling for Vermont was sooooo awesome! I love love LOVE everything about it. Yes, the story line is pretty standard but the writing, actors, and the flow are all so natural. The chemistry is just spot on. It's in the small little things... like the awkward scene in the morning after the 'almost kiss', and the tiny touch of their hands in the ferris wheel. I was moved to tears during the farewell scene. It was so amazing how Emily (the little girl) seemed so strong and sure enough Angela told her to "take care of Dad". I love all the characters. I'm so thankful that the script was so beautifully done! I particularly love that Angela/Elisabeth and Jeff had some time together before the "reveal". I liked that they both were going to blurt it out to each other but Angela said they should just enjoy the moment first. Also impressed at the natural flow of the story.. nothing felt rushed or forced like many other Hallmak movies with similar story line. I know I'll be watching this again! I've been waiting for a long time for a simply well-made Hallmark movie with good script and actors and they deliver this time. Well done Hallmark!
ReplyDeleteCH Mom, Wow!! What a great review you gave "Falling For Vermont"! Each line was spot on and I agree 100%. I, too, loved, loved, loved it. Let's hope it comes out on DVD, soon!!
DeleteOh my goodness.... what a sweet review, CH Mom. It is such a nice story, very similar to "A Christmas to Remember" and yet, unique in it's own way! I liked how Angela had little flashback moments of her real life and, like you said, there was a natural flow of the story and their growing interest in one another.
DeleteThank you for sharing this beautiful comment, CH! As Linda said, this was a great review & I, too, hope it comes to DVD!!!
Blessings, Net :)
I saw a mistake in the movie "Falling got vermont". After she and the kids show him the canoe, she says "why don't you take Alex out for her first test drive?" But Alex is his son. Emily was his daughter.
