  1. This movie looks so gooooooood. I just love Catherine Bell, she is so beautiful. It may be hard to see her outside of the Good Witch movies/series, but her and Victor Webster look good together, looks like there may be chemistry. During the Good Witch this Sunday, they played a longer preview for Christmas in the Air with Catherine Bell, it looks really good too. I have decided I want to move to the magical land of Middleton, everything is so happy there.

  2. Isn't this movie about horse jockey or something?

  3. Is that David O'Donnell in the picture of her army husband who died? It sure looks like it to me.

    1. Yes, that is actor David O'Donnell in the military picture! I recognized him, too, from the Hallmark movie "Christmas Under Wraps" with Candace Cameron Bure and the ION Christmas movie "Christmas in Vermont!"

  4. This movie was wonderful. The cast was perfect as was the beautiful scenery and sets. Catherine Bell was luminous and has such great chemistry with Victor Webster, and kudos to Matreya Fedor who was wondeful as Catherine's daughter.

I have to say that I wasn't crazy about last year's movies on either channel but if they are as good as Home for Christmas Day, then I look forward to each and everyone. I was also especially excited to see a commercial for. A Bramble House Christmas starring one of my personal faves, Autumn Reeser. Looks wonderful as well! Merry Christmas in July to all!!!

  5. I also saw the commercial for A Bramble House Christmas, and like Barbara, was quite excited to see a new Autumn Reeser Hallmark movie coming this year!

A little bit of trivia - the picture of Catherine Bell's character's KIA soldier husband looked to be a picture of David O'Donnell, an actor I quite enjoy watching!

    1. An encore air date for "Home for Christmas Day" hasn't been given, yet, but I think it's safe to say it will return this Holiday Season on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries!

For it's first encore airing, it may receive a special primetime showing on a Saturday or Sunday night, but for now... we shall have to wait and see!

Thank you for asking! I'll be sure to include it in the Christmas TV Schedule, as soon as I know!

I was pleasantly surprised about this one. I agree with a previous comment here - the Christmas in July movies have been generally underwhelming in years past. It's always been nice to see a new movie in the middle of the summer but the quality has always been "meh" in my opinion. "Home for Christmas Day" was typical Hallmark and didn't break any new ground but the acting was solid and it was an overall nice movie to get back into the Christmas spirit for a couple of hours on a hot summer evening.
