STUDIO CITY, CA – March 27, 2017 – Sara Rue (“Less Than Perfect,” “Popular”) and Steve Bacic (“When Calls the Heart”) star in Hallmark Channel’s “All For Love,” a new original movie premiering Saturday, May 13 (9 p.m. ET/PT).
After a string of successes, romance novelist Jo Parker (Rue) is worried that she’s lost her Cupid’s touch. She herself has sworn off relationships, her sales are down and her last book was a critical and commercial disaster replete with factual errors. Jo is badly in need of a success and her publisher isn’t happy with her first draft of “SEALed with a Kiss,” featuring a hunky Navy Seal hero. With her career in balance, Jo unenthusiastically commits herself to an immersive research course with an openly skeptical retired Seal, Colin Shaw (Bacic), who runs a military-style boot camp. As Jo embarks on the grueling regimen alongside aspiring Seals and Marines, she discovers capabilities she didn’t know she had and contributes to her team in ways no one expected. From their rocky beginnings, writer and sailor develop a mutual respect and perhaps something more -- but can art really imitate life?
“‘All For Love’ is a charming story about expanding your definition of who you can be and how you can live your life,” said Michelle Vicary, Executive Vice President, Programming and Network Publicity, Crown Media Family Networks. “Sara Rue and Steve Bacic have a delightful chemistry and viewers will love seeing the sparks fly between their smart, strong-willed characters.”
“All for Love” is a Book Road Production Ltd. Jack Grossbart, Linda Kent, Michael Shepard and Marnie Young are executive producers. Harvey Kahn is producer. Lee Friedlander is the director. Writers are Mark Famiglietti, Michael Testa, Tracy Andreen and Lee Friedlander.

This is the one that had the working title of "Love by the Book." (We knew it would not keep that title.)
ReplyDeleteI am certainly looking forward to this movie, been a Sara Rue fan since she was on the sitcom Less than Perfect. She also played Grace's younger sister on Will and Grace. It will also be nice to see Steve Bacic playing the romantic leading man, something different from his role in GSM movies. Sara Rue is perfect for Hallmark movies, hopefully this will become of many Hallmark movies featuring Ms Rue.
ReplyDeleteTotally agree.
DeleteI am also looking forward to seeing this movie!
ReplyDeletelooking for that movie
ReplyDeleteI wonder what happened to this movie? Hallmark has commercials saying starting May 20th, The Art of Us starts off 6 new movies in a row. so maybe it is moved to May 27th? I was looking forward to this, I hope it is just moving days. And if it is not, then what are they playing May 27th? It will be a new movie according to Hallmarks commercials.
ReplyDeleteYou are absolutely right, Sabrina! Since this press release, "All for Love" has moved to May 27th on the Hallmark Channel!
DeleteI have it listed on that date on my Family TV Schedule and the TV Movie list. I'll be sure to change it above, as well!
6 of the new movies coming in a row include 4 of the June Wedding movies, so the six new Hallmark movies are...
The Art of Us - May 20, 2017
All For Love - May 27, 2017
Destination Wedding - June 3, 2017
The Perfect Bride - June 10, 2017
The Wedding March 2 - June 17, 2017
My Favorite Wedding - June 24, 2017
Thanks so much for commenting, Sabrina!!! :)
I think I did see this after I did this post. You do such a wonderful job, I so appreciate all you do to keep us up to date on our favorite channel and movies.
DeleteThanks so much!!! :)
DeleteGood evening Net😀
ReplyDeleteHave a quick question for you. I noticed you have three different Amazon spots we can click on to support your blog. Only two have Amazon.com the one on the right hand only says Amazon. My question is are all these valid links to click on especially the one that only has Amazon but no . Com behind it?
Thank you for asking. Those links should all work just fine.
DeleteI don't test them everyday, however, so... if you, by chance, ever click on a dud link sometime (that goes nowhere), feel free to comment and let me know. I would appreciate it very much and be sure to fix it as soon as possible!
I would love a list of the full cast, can't find one anywhere.
ReplyDeleteWhile I enjoyed the movie did any one else see the irony of it being a movie about getting the facts correct but then in the end we are to believe that the main female character, who had never left the tri state area nor had been on an international flight, just happened to have a passport so that she could fly to New Zealand?
ReplyDeleteApparently she is like me. I have a passport for extra ID in the state of CA. I have plans to one day travel upon retirement. (smile)
DeleteHi I am just Wondering when this is Gonna Come On DVD. I Love It. Steve Bacic is such a hottie. Thank You for Any Kind of input of when its gonna come on Dvd Or When Is It Suppose To Come Back On Hallmark channel
ReplyDeleteMy favorite movie of the summer! I hope that there will be a sequel. Perhaps a new book in their travels? Marriage? Children? Don't let this story end there!
ReplyDeletehello everyone, do you know if there is going to be a sequel of those 2? marriage, children anything with their chemistry, comedy and magnet of issues between them? i truly loved them Steve and Sara are amazing together
