  1. When I initially saw the headline "SSD returns to Hallmark" I got excited thinking that maybe they woke up and returned the series to where it started and to the people who made it a success. But that excitement was short lived. Very disappointed but still hoping.

    1. Oh no, I'm so sorry I falsely got your hopes up. I never meat to do so. I truly apologize as I know what it is like to not have Hallmark Movies & Mysteries channel and long to see the programs on there.

I have just recently been blessed to add the station onto my DirecTV account and if any of you are considering it - I must say I love it because every day of the week they show two movies at night and three in the evening.

Again, so sorry I disappointed you. I have changed the title above so it does not give the wrong idea to anyone else.

  2. Just curious...but the titles for the SSD episodes don't match the ones that aired. Do you happen to know which episodes these titles fit?

  4. Thanks for reporting all of the awesomeness here, Net. Do you know if you have to have a DirecTV HD box to be able to watch the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries channel? I just switched to a package that was supposed to include it and I still can't get it.

    1. Hello Natalie, I'm glad to help! In order to get the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries channel you will need a High Definition Receiver. Since you are already paying for the package that gets the station, all you have to do is contact DirecTV and they will have someone come to your home with a new receiver and dish (mine is oval shape), and they will install it all for you.

You can look the various HD receivers over on DirecTV's site, here:
      http://www.directv.com/technology/hd_receiver

Also, when you call them, they may be able to negotiate a lower cost on the receiver for you.

Hope all this information helps and you can get it set up before all the Christmas movies begin!

  7. Truth Be Told ended up being a wonderful addition to the SSD story. It also looks like one of the "lost letter" story lines will be continued into the next movie in October. Family and forgiveness are universal, and Martha Williamson continues to develop our favorite Postables in interesting ways.

  9. Good afternoon I receive your updates and was so excited to see All Of My Heart and So You said Yes coming out on DVDs in january. I went on the Amaxon site and saw them and put them in my cart but did not buy them right away. About a week later I went in again and they were not there so I called the Amazon phone number to ask if they had these movies and the customer service rep checked and he could not pull them up either. I am wondering if I somehow ended up on a spoofed website of Amazon that showed these movies on DVDs or am I just being silly. Did anyone else notice this? The rep said sometimes they remove movies if they run out but because these were preorders they would not have pulled them! Please tell me are these really coming out on DVDs!
