On September 15th, 2015,
the Hallmark Channel's morning lifestyle show
"Home & Family"
will give fans the big announcement!
Here's all the details we know, so far, direct from the new commercial with hosts Mark Steines & Cristina Ferrare, promoting this event:
Commercial Preview:
Cristina: "Mark your calendars for a Home & Family special announcement!
(Mark and Cristina stand in front of a red curtain, toasting champagne glasses)
Mark: "On Tuesday September 15, be sure to join us, along with some very special guests as we reveal this years Countdown to Christmas line-up of Hallmark Channel Original Holiday Movies!"
(Christmas movie scene clips are shown, as Mark mentions "guests", of Candace Cameron Bure (On Time for Christmas), Lori Loughlin, Dermot Mulroney, Bailee Madison (Northpole 2: Open for Christmas), Danica McKellar, Rupert Penry Jones (Crown for Christmas), and Lacey Chabert (Family for Christmas)!

ReplyDeleteMy channel will be bouncing back and forth between the Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries! I'm so excited to see HMM is adding even more new ones this year!
DeleteAnd, there are also old and new Christmas movies coming to INSP, ION, UP, and LIFETIME, too!
Thank you for your comment, Tonya! So good to hear how much you love Christmas movies!!! :)
I can't wait to see this year's Countdown to Christmas tv schedule! Love these movies and I dvr these movies so that I can watch them throughout the year! My tv stays on this channel!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Tonya, for sharing your love for Hallmark movies!!! :)
DeleteHow exciting!!!! I won't miss it, Net!! Come on Sept. 15th....can't believe it's almost here!!
ReplyDeleteKnew you would love this news, Linda!!! It's so fun that we can all watch the show and learn about all the new movies together!!!
DeleteI had to chuckle in the midst of my glee -- Hallmark is really tuning in to what we want. They are finally figuring out that we are itching to know what the movies will be, who will be in them, and any details we can get. They have probably caught on to the fact that we put on our amateur detective hats and go sleuthing around the Internet to gather any tidbits of info we can manage! Lol.
ReplyDeleteSo, Hallmark finally turned the big movie reveal into an "event" -- which helps draw attention to both "Home & Family" and to the Countdown to Christmas itself.
Of course, being the super sleuths that we are, we have already figured out details about many of the movies coming to both Hallmark and to Movies & Mysteries. There are still a few surprises left, though -- so those will be fun to hear on 9/15.
It just so happens that that is a week when I am supposed to have jury duty. :-( So, if I am not home on 9/15 I will have to record the "big reveal" and watch it as soon as I get back.
By the way, Alicia Witt appears to still be on location, filming her mysterious Christmas movie. If she happens to mention (on her Facebook page) coming back and doing "Home & Family" anytime in the next couple of weeks, we will know that her movie is for Hallmark.
I am going to assume that there will be surprise guests in addition to the ones we know about, who are listed above.
So true, Sherry! Hallmark has really listened to their viewers who love their family shows and movies... and kept us "in the know" at just the right time! I'm sure it's hard for them to keep a lot of their movies a surprise with everybody on social media now. Finding little hints and clues, however, is half the joy and fun! It's almost like finding a Christmas gift and trying to guess, without looking, what could be inside!
DeleteAs for your jury duty... What a bummer it falls on that date! I hope your case is dismissed or settled out of court. That's happened to me several times, when I've been called.
As far as who the guests are... I'm not sure if it will be all the ones I mentioned above, but they just happened to show their pictures when they mentioned guests in the commercial. Most of them... Lori Loughlin, Bailee Madison, Danica McKellar, Candace Cameron Bure, Lacey Chabert, etc... have been on Home & Family before, so I wouldn't be surprised to see them again!
Can't believe how fast it's all coming!!!
Oh, I can't wait for the Christmas shows to come out. Hallmark Countdown to Christmas is a favorite pleasure of mine. Thank you for following us at Red Rose Alley. I am now following you too.
ReplyDeleteHave a sweet day.

Woot Woot! Overjoyed at this announcement!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the heads up.
