"Love Finds You" - Movies Continue on UP...
On June 1, 2014, the Original Movie "Love Finds You in Sugarcreek" set in Amish Country, premiered on UP-TV, starring Rachel Lancaster and Tom Everett Scott.
In "Love Finds You in Sugarcreek", Rachel Troyer (Sarah Lancaster) is a smart, focused, single policewoman in the quaint town of Sugarcreek, nicknamed “The Little Switzerland of Ohio” and located about an hour south of Akron, in the heart of Amish country. She frequently looks in on her three kindly Amish aunts Bertha (Kelly McGillis), Anna (Marianna Alacchi) and Lydia (Annie Kitral), who raised Rachel from girlhood after she was orphaned and are the proprietors of a picturesque, although faded, farmhouse inn.
When a mysterious stranger, Joe (Tom Everett Scott), shows up on the inn’s doorstep with his five-year-old son, Bobby (Thomas Kapanowski), the aunts insist on taking the pair in as a matter of faith and good will. Rachel’s police instincts immediately tell her that this seemingly broke outsider is much too refined to be the drifter he presents himself to be.
The Second film...
This year, on June 7, 2015, the Original Movie "Love Finds You in Charm", also set in Amish Country, starring Trevor Donovan and Danielle Chuchran, premiered on UP-TV.
In "Love Finds You in Charm", the second film in UP’s “Love Finds You” original movie series, beautiful Emma Miller would appear to be the luckiest girl in Indiana. She teaches school, has a loving family, and the town’s most eligible young man wants to marry her. But this Amish young woman has more on her mind than buggies and bonnets – she longs for adventure and wants to see the world.
The next movie.... the Third film in UP’s ‘Love Finds You’ franchise - "Love Finds You in Valentine", will be coming in 2016.
I'm just guessing from the title that it might premiere around Valentine's Day, however that hasn't been officially confirmed.

It will be nice to see this series continue on UP...

ReplyDeleteforward to the next "Love Finds You in Valentine". Thanks for keeping us up date!! Camilla
I used to LOVE the "Love Finds You...." book series!! SO COOL that they're turning them into movies!!
ReplyDeleteI have read the Love Finds You books and truly love them. I am also enjoying the movies and hope they continue making them. I understand what you are thinking about the title being Valentine and thinking that it may air around Valentine's Day, but from what I remember about the book it isn't a Valentine's Day book. That of course doesn't mean that it can't or won't air around that time. Personally I hope it will air sooner, but we will have to wait and see.
ReplyDeleteAlso I couldn't get your link to work to read more about the movie.
