Christmas Movie fans: You may recognize Amy Acker in the picture above. She's the star of that adorable Lifetime Christmas Movie: Dear Santa.

Also, Dylan Bruce, Amy's co-star pictured above, stars in the Hallmark Channel Christmas Movie: Love's Christmas Journey.

is a raw story of pain and redemption.

'Like a Country Song' via UP:  This is a story about Jake Reeson, an up and coming country singer who has the whole world in his hands until his ego gets in the way. With nothing but partying and music on his mind, Jake is forced to take a hard look at himself and the ashes around him after life and his singing career slowly falls apart. Music fans: First of all, most will recognize Billy Ray Cyrus, who has been a well known country singer, since the days of his hit song "Achy Breaky Heart". He has also starred in the Hallmark Channel movies Christmas in Canaan and Christmas Comes Home to Canaan

Playing the lead role of Jake Reeson in 'Like a Country Song' is Joel SmallBone, who is probably best known from the Christian pop duo, For King & Country. (A personal note: I have seen For King & Country in concert and they were "A-MAY-ZING"!... so I'm really looking forward to seeing Joel sing in this movie.)

*See the Family TV Schedule for encore airings of both movies.

If you get the chance to see one or both of these movies,
please be sure to stop back by and let everyone know what you thought of them!

I Hope You All Have a Wonderful Weekend!

    1. Me too! I think it looks interesting, as well... Although, if you've seen the commercial preview, it does looks like rather intense, at times. I will be taping it and hopefully will have the chance to watch it soon.

  4. We loved A Novel Romance last night. Amy and Dylan were a perfect match, even though we thought the truth would never come out! I have set my DVR for the UP movie tonight. Thanks as always for these reminders. I know I've seen a lot more great movies on TV with my family, because of you! Jess
