🌟🎄 More the Merrier! See 6 New Christmas Movies This Weekend on Great American Family, Hallmark & UPtv!!!

Happy Christmas Movie Watching, Friends! ❤️🎄

We're in for another BIG weekend of Christmas movie premieres, and this one is the biggest lineup yet! The Christmas movie excitement just keeps growing, with Great American Family premiering TWO new movies for the first time this season, Hallmark Channel bringing us THREE more premieres, and UPtv adding ONE more to the festive fun!

And what a fun variety of stories we have coming our way! One movie takes us to the Christmas wonderland of Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missouri (which sounds like such a delightful setting!), another brings together cherished Christmas memories and a heartfelt tribute to our military, while another reminds us that sometimes the best gift we can give our family is putting down our screens and spending more time together. And that's just part of what's in store!

So, whether you're setting the DVR or planning a cozy night of Christmas movie watching, there are plenty of new stories to look forward to! I'm excited to see which ones become new favorites, and I always love hearing what you think, too!

See all of the premiere details below...

Friday, November 6, 2026:

When Danny is assigned to create a holiday scrapbook for his mom, Michaela reluctantly accepts help from his free-spirited substitute teacher, Bryan (Morgan), whose creativity clashes with her need for preciseness and control. As they set out to capture festive moments for the scrapbook, unexpected mishaps turn into meaningful traditions – and sparks begin to fly. Through Danny’s project, Michaela learns to embrace imperfection and open her heart, while Bryan rethinks his future as a traveling substitute teacher.

New Movies Coming to the Hallmark Channel in 2027... with Tyler Hynes, Kim Matula, Lacey Chabert, & More

Hallmark Media announced today a new movie coming in 2027 starring Tyler Hynes and Kim Matula!

Tyler delivered the news while casually sitting next to a sleeping camel. Their new movie, titled "Here's Looking at You, Kit," is coming to the Hallmark Channel in 2027 as part of the network's Winter Escape lineup, and rumor has it that it is being filmed in Morocco.

The title of the film, "Here's Looking at You, Kit," of course, instantly reminded me of that iconic line from Humphrey Bogart in the classic movie Casablanca: "Here's Looking at You, Kid." That film wasn't filmed in Morocco; however, the setting of the film is set in the city of Casablanca in French Morocco.

It should be interesting to see if there are more similarities between this Hallmark movie and the 1942 classic film.

And there's more Hallmark movie news!

Taylor Cole and Wes Brown are teaming up for a new Hallmark Channel movie, and this one will have a golf theme! Taylor shared the exciting news during a behind-the-scenes panel hosted by JustJared.com at the 2026 Hallmark Christmas Cruise. While the movie is still under wraps and hasn't been officially announced by Hallmark just yet, Taylor let this little bit of news slip early.

And in case you haven't heard, Hallmark hasn't revealed this news yet, but Just Jared revealed weeks ago that Lacey Chabert is also filming abroad. She was spotted in Venice, Italy, filming with Josh Bowman. The film is expected to be part of Hallmark's Winter Escape.

Stay tuned for more movie news!

Happy Movie-Watching,

Happy Weekend, Everyone!

Daylight Saving Time ends this weekend, which means it's time to fall back and change our clocks again. Personally, I would love it - if we just stayed at the time we are right now. What do you all think? Do you enjoy a brighter morning or more sunlight in the early evening?

At least, this weekend, we'll have more time for watching Christmas movies!!! Once again, we have four Christmas premieres to look forward to, one on Great American Family and three on the Hallmark Channel! And there's lots of wonderful actors starring in these movies: Jill Wagner, Cameron Mathison, Rhiannon Fish, Corey Sevier, Emile Ullerup, and more!

So... as we transition this weekend from October to November, check out details for the new Christmas premieres below + some delightful classics!

🔎 Nikki DeLoach & Andrew Walker Announce New "Curious Caterer Mystery"

Mystery fans, get ready for more sleuthing, suspicious clues, and puzzles to solve!

In case you missed it, during Hallmark’s four-night Christmas Cruise event this past weekend, Nikki DeLoach and Andrew Walker announced during a Q&A panel that a NEW "Curious Caterer" mystery movie is coming in 2027! Even better, filming is set to begin very soon on this sixth installment - from October 30th through November 18th! The working title is "Prime Cut: A Curious Caterer Mystery"!

Prime Cut is the 8th book in Diane Mott Davidson’s Goldy Culinary Mysteries series, which inspired Hallmark’s Curious Caterer movies! If the new movie follows the book, Goldy may find herself in quite a pickle! She’s facing serious financial troubles and career pressure, all while dealing with a kitchen remodel gone wrong and a cutthroat rival. Sounds like Goldy will have plenty to juggle as she tries to get to the bottom of another mystery!

Once again, Nikki DeLoach stars as Goldy Berry, a caterer with a knack for stumbling into mysteries, while Andrew Walker plays Detective Tom Schultz. Somehow, these two always find themselves working together, and while Goldy may be an amateur sleuth, she has excellent instincts and a way of noticing the little details that others might miss.

I’m so excited to see what new mystery awaits Goldy and Tom next!

The previous films in this series are:

Curious Caterer: Dying for Chocolate (2022)

Curious Caterer: Grilling Season (2023)

Curious Caterer: Fatal Vows (2023)

Curious Caterer: Foiled Plans (2024)

Curious Caterer: Forbidden Fruit (2024)

You can watch these movies by streaming on Hallmark+ (click here), or the first three "Curious Caterer" movies are available on DVD (click here).

Nikki DeLoach & Andrew Walker's Announcement:

Can't wait to sleuth this mystery with you all again! I hope many of you are excited, too!

Happy Sleuthing!

Following the unconventional orders from his doctor, Kathryn agrees to help trigger Rob’s memory by retracing their romance and reintroducing him to the holidays. When Erin is given a peculiar heart-shaped Christmas ornament, she wakes up in an alternate reality where she’s a world-famous fashion designer. As she “meets” and attends Christmas events with alternate-universe Adam, she realizes that while her fashion dreams came true, it’s lonely at the top. While working on a way to bring more charity and heart to her fashion empire, she learns that her dream life and love were always right in front of her – if only she finds the heart and courage to ask.

🌟 SHINING HIS LIGHT: 🌟

With "A Christmas Prayer Tradition" premiering this weekend, I thought this would be a meaningful time to share The Lord's Prayer...

"After this manner therefore pray ye:
Our Father which art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done in earth,
as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our debts,
as we forgive our debtors.

And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil:
For thine is the kingdom, and the power,
and the glory, for ever. Amen."

~Matthew 6:9-13
