Happy first weekend of October, everyone!ππ
Fall truly feels like it's on the way now... and we are just one week away from NEW Christmas movies! Yay! I'm holding on tight to this extra special feeling of anticipation!
But before we get ahead of ourselves, there is plenty to enjoy this weekend! We are nearly midway through Season 2 of Crossroad Springs, and this weekend marks the final episode airing on Great American Family this year; however, if you don't want to wait for the rest of Season 2, you can keep watching episodes weekly via streaming on Great American PureFlix. (UPDATE: Season 2 will continue Jamuary 9, 2027 on Great American Family.)
And over on the Hallmark Channel, Fall into Love continues with a romantic fantasy that will whisk us back in time. The movie stars Julie Gonzalo and James Trevena, with a special appearance from Chris McNally - Julie’s real-life husband! That should be fun to see what role he plays.
See all of the details below...

I hope you all have a fabulous Fall weekend - whether you're enjoying Friday night football, watching a new movie, or just hanging out with family or friends!
Our weather has finally turned a little chillier, so I'm going to be enjoying a bonfire this weekend. With that crisp feeling in the air, October is the perfect time for this!
If you're planning to watch the new movie or Crossroad Springs, please feel free to share a review with us!
Blessings on your weekend,
Net
SHINING HIS LIGHT:
“Let us live in awe of the LORD our God,
for He gives us rain
each spring and fall,
assuring us of a harvest
when the time is right.”
~Jeremiah 5:24

Net, ah yes...nothing like sitting around a bonfire at night in October with a blanket around you, maybe while toasting some marshmallows to go in the hot chocolate you're drinking. Okay, now I'm envious...
ReplyDeleteOh yesssss... we've been pulling out ALL of the blankets!!! It's like 70 something during the day, but oh my does it drop at night to the 40s. Brrrrrrr!!! 'Tis the season!!! :)
DeleteThose treats sound yummy, but instead of hot chocolate, I prefer warm apple with a cinnamon stick!!!
Excited for this new fall movie this weekend- we have soccer games for both kids but I’ll be recording! And wow I am so jealous of your bonfire weather Net, we have another heat wave here in CA and it will be 100 & 101 this weekend π₯΅ so crazy since it’s October. I am imagining myself strolling down a sidewalk sprinkled with crunchy orange leaves and a cozy sweater π§‘

Paula, Wow, you all just can't get a break from this heat. A friend of mine from California shared with me yesterday that she had a heat advisory. That is crazy in October.
DeleteWe are starting to see the leaves turning orange - some trees faster than others, of course. And yes... I'm pulling out sweaters, cardigans, and sweatshirts! I do love the cozy feel of this time of year!
Have lots of fun at your soccer games!!! :)
"I'm holding on tight to this extra special feeling of anticipation!"...Amen Sister!
ReplyDeleteJim, Awww... you & me both!!! Have a wonderful weekend!!! :)
DeleteUPDATE: Crossroad Springs season 2, episode 5 airs tonight (Saturday) on Great American Family. After this, GAF is taking a break from the series to air Christmas movies, and (here's the update!) episode 6 will be back next year - on Saturday, January 9th, 2027!!!!!
ReplyDeleteIf you can't wait to see the rest of the series, your other option is a paid subscription to Pure Flix. All episodes will be available there. Episodes 6-10 will come out weekly.
One of the easiest ways to get Pure Flix, is through an add-on channel with Amazon Prime - *click here for details*
By the way, all of the Great American Family Christmas movies will also be available on Pure Flix throughout the holiday season!
( oh good. The thought of dodging spoilers for the rest of the year did NOT sound good!).
ReplyDeleteNext week is gonna be sooooo busy for me with CBS premieres and a NYCC panel next weekend I'll be looking for info about!! :)) -Maria
Grr, I didn't realize that this is the last "Crossroad Springs" till January! I love it and "Blue Skies." Here is a tip that I don't know if you have already mentioned: We have enjoyed the 6 part series "The Chosen in the Wild with Bear Grylls." It is on Amazon Prime and it's really fun. Bear is also a believer! Several cast members from "The Chosen" go on adventures with him. Amy in CA
ReplyDeleteI am glad I have PureFlix on my Prime video account! This last episode was really good! Looking forward to the next one.
ReplyDeleteMisty
A Knight to Remember is a wonderful movie! (and Chris McNally has a cameo!). -Maria
ReplyDeleteJulie’s movie looks interesting to me, but I hope it doesn’t have a mystical feel to it. I didn’t care for the direction Hallmark went in Chris and Aimee’s film with all the manifesting.
ReplyDeleteIt’s been a busy weekend so I haven’t watched A Knight to Remember yet but a friend of mine said she watched last night and she said they talk about astrology. I thought some of you would want to know that. Christie
