The weekend is finally here, friends! I hope we can all enjoy a relaxing, peaceful weekend.
Another *Fall into Love* movie is premiering this Saturday on the Hallmark Channel, and it looks like a sweet, cozy Autumn rom-com... with a Fall bucket list that includes apple-picking, pumpkin carving, a corn maze, a bonfire, and more!
Also on Saturday night, Great American Family has episode 2 of Crossroad Springs! An old friend visits town, which may make James a little jealous, and of course, there's always a little drama between the Hamiltons and the Newmans.
And following the 25th anniversary of September 11th, Lifetime has a new movie premiering Saturday night titled Angel in the Rubble, that tells the inspiring true story of Genelle Guzman's miraculous rescue from the Twin Towers. I've heard Genelle speak about rediscovering her Christian faith while waiting and praying to be rescued; her testimony is truly powerful. (Please note: I do want to caution that this movie is rated TV-14 for violence, language, and adult dialogue.)

SHINING HIS LIGHT:
“Let your light shine before others,
that they may see your good deeds
and glorify your Father in heaven.”
- Matthew 5:16
Sometimes, all it takes is a little kindness or a gentle smile to bring light into someone's difficult day. We may never know how God can use even our smallest acts of love, so let's stay close to Him and allow His goodness to shine through us wherever we go.

I'll record Angel in the Rubble. I can't tell you how thankful I am for your pointers, Net, to good content on other sources besides Hallmark and GAF. I would never know about movies like this otherwise. THANK YOU for all you do! Blessings, Amy in CA
ReplyDeleteAmy, I hope you enjoyed the movie. It is nice to know going in that this story from September 11th, at least, ends happily.
DeleteThank you so much for the sweet message. It is my joy to share when I discover movies like this that might be of interest.
Blessings to you!!!!! :)
Definitely been feeling older then I actually am lately. Never really pictured growing up to be so complicated, or to continue past a certain age.

Happy Birthday Maria! Hope you indulged with whatever your favorite desert it. For me, it’s an almost raw cookie or brownie, never been a fan of cakes. Kathy you made me laugh! I used to think 30 was so old too.
DeleteI’m in my 30s and currently and our kids keep asking how old we are and what toys we had back when we were little. I told our daughter we didn’t have iPads. I’m sure they existed, but we couldn’t afford them. She looked at me like I lived with the dinosaurs π

thanks, you 2. :))) -Maria
DeleteHappy belated birthday, Maria! π

By the way - I want to caution that there are random ads, so I don't know what we'll play for you. I saw a couple that were political.
