The WCTH episode looks like a lot of fun!!
ReplyDeleteAbigail, I agree... it does look really fun! This silent film idea is so perfect the 1920s era.
DeleteWonder if there will be any serious moments or updates on Christopher???
I can’t wait for the new WCTH! When Rosemary takes charge, watch out!
ReplyDeleteYour image at the top is really fun, Net. 🤩
Christie
Christie, Thank you! It was easy to be inspired with the wonderful images released for this weekend.
DeleteI also adore Rosemary! I kinda wish she was starring in the silent movie, too! I'm sure she could star & direct!
looks like a great weekend for TV with the snow coming.
ReplyDeletedstoutholcomb, I've been hearing more & more about that snow today. Prayers for all on the upper northeast coast. It's going to be a big one.
DeleteLast week's When Calls The Heart had a live viewing figure of 1.7m which is the highest to date this year more than than any of the Rom.Coms - Florence
ReplyDeleteFlorence, Thank you so much for sharing this ratings number. It’s always fascinating to see how TV shows and movies are performing these days. I hadn’t looked into the latest stats recently, so I really appreciate you posting this.
DeleteFlorence!!! That is so great and I’m not surprised!! The WCTH crew, writers and actors impress me more and more every year. Thanks for sharing that information!
DeleteOMG, hope some of you had the chance to catch that gold medal hockey match this morning!!! :) -Maria
ReplyDeleteYes, Maria, the hockey game was amazing. I am so sad the Olympics are over. Amazing talent all around. That Klaebo guy, he was so amazing and all he accomplished this games. I enjoyed watching that 50k race. He just took off up that hill and was gone. I believe the US men and women did better in that event than anyone thought.
DeleteGo Team USA!!!
Sabrina
Maria, Yes, what an amazing hockey game, and I'm not one who even typically watches hockey! And how beautiful was it when they brought the young daughter and son of the late Johnny Gaudreau on the ice during the medal celebration. There couldn't have been a dry eye in the place. What an incredible, heartwarming, patriotic moment!!!
DeleteMixed Connection was fun. I’ve never seen the woman before but I liked her. Christie
ReplyDeleteChristie, Thank you for sharing this review! :)
DeleteI watched Missed Connection and I enjoyed it a lot. Loved how Max was able to get the wedding party guests to have fun while waiting for the wedding and the groom. I liked the female lead a lot too, hope we see her more. Loved her GiGi too. Very cute and sweet.
ReplyDeleteThe Cupid movie from HM last week, I didn't love it, it was silly. I did like Amy and Evan I just thought it was too much and the whole love potion stuff to me was silly. Maybe I missed it cause I did ff some, but weren't all the couples still together even after the "potion"? Just strange.
I can't wait to watch this weeks The Stars Between Us. I am a week behind with the Olympics and all. Such a wonderful winter games and I cannot wait for the Summer Games in 2 years. Go Team USA!!!!
Sabrina
Sabrina, Thank you for sharing reviews for two movies! Always good to hear your thoughts.
DeleteI'm still catching up with some movies, too. (I'm finally watching Missing the Boat tonight.) So nice to know both you and Christie enjoyed Missed Connection! :)
Hmmmm “The Stars Between Us” was okay. The talk about horoscopes I ignored since I don’t believe in that stuff. I thought their “almost running into each other” dragged on for far too long, they finally reunited at the last 15 minutes of the movie. I was more interested in the budding relationship between her friend and his friend. One time watch only for me unfortunately, just fell flat.
ReplyDelete~Paula
Paula, I have the same feelings regarding horoscopes. I may end up skipping the movie since it includes this. Thank you so much for your review!
DeleteThe Stars Between Us is a one time watch for me. Didn't like the horoscope aspects and felt Sara was over acting in the first hour of the movie. Little on the silly side and unbelievable that the main characters would be so close to one another and not see each other.
ReplyDeleteWow! That WCTH episode was so much fun! Seeing Rosemary in action in her director mode was terrific and I loved her outfit. And so funny when she fired Elizabeth and Nathan. But what was really sweet was the tribute to Neill Fearnley by having Ned play his name.
