Exciting news, sleuthers! More secrets of "Mistletoe Murders" will be unwrapped this Christmas!

The hit mystery series has officially been renewed on Hallmark for a third season!

And just when you thought you’d have to wait in suspense, stars Sarah Drew (Emily) and Peter Mooney (Sam) are set to return to untangle that jaw-dropping Season 2 cliffhanger.

Season 3 is slated to premiere during the 2026 “Countdown to Christmas” event - when Santa’s watching whose naughty & nice… and so is Emily.

  1. This tickles me pink :) I am so happy about this. I am not sure if I will love any other HM Christmas movie, but I know I will be tuning in for this. So glad hallmark didn't drop yet another amazing series/mystery series. It would be so nice to have this for many more Christmas's, and it keeps going on to 4 and 5 seasons. Way better than that weak baking show, Mr Christmas, and that sea reality show.

Also, I just saw some news about Crossword Mysteries making a comeback. Saw it on facebook, so don’t know yet if it’s true or not, but hopefully it is.

  5. I’m excited about season 3 but wish some actors wouldn’t be so vocal about their political views.it kind of spoils it for me.

  7. Exciting news! I never cared for Sarah Drew but I do enjoy this series. I wish they would premiere it sooner though because I would not classify it as “Christmas”— to me Christmas is warm & fuzzy & overdone storylines, all of which I love.

  8. Absolutely wonderful news - has cheered me up no end.

With what has happened in the past you just couldn't be sure Hallmark would come through.

I thought this was way better than the vast majority of Hallmark's Christmas movies last year.

Entertaining stories, great acting by all the cast and the chemistry between Sarah Drew and Peter Mooney was off the scale.

I'm excited already about this!! - Florence
